The MOD never cleans up the crap it dumps all over the country. My daughter was playing on a Dorset beach and impaled her leg on some old iron spike that was used to hold barbed wire coils in place - 80 fecking years ago. Lazy sods had never cleared the beach properly - and you can't sue the Crown, who owns the UK shoreline. Tough luck mate.

Hi Solariss, that's very true! This stuff is literally everywhere, until recently barbed wire was still visible on Holkham beach. Thanks for commenting!
