Hey everybody! Fun fact: This is a video I wrote and initially recorded in anticipation of the Rings of Power SEASON 1, but I ended up taking so long finishing it up that the show had ended by the time I was finished. At the time I jokingly thought maybe I'd just hold off all the way until Season 2 came out. Well, here it is!

There is a John Huston/Dino de Laurentis movie called THE BIBLE...IN THE BEGINNING which adapts the first 22 chapters of Genesis. It's 172 minutes long and covers only the beginning of the beginning. It doesn't even get halfway through the whole Book of Genesis. Going off of that,, if anyone ever did try to adapt the entire Bible to film, it would either be the single longest film ever, or the single longest film series ever.

The rings of power are supposedly meant to be based on the silmarilion. However amazon doesnt have the rights to that book. Howeverever they do have roghts to extras of a book, which do contain parts of the silmarilion based on which they could cook up something decent. Howeverever they dont want to cook up something decent based on what they have.

Don't feel pressured to review Amazon's lord of the rings. I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't care about it at all
