A special place, Guri Amir, imposing and interesting, where time seems to have been left behind. Also captivating is the story about the curse written on the tombstone. I also want to go on a trip to Uzbekistan, where rich history intertwines with impressive architecture and the people are warm and hospitable.

Surely one of the best places to visit in Samarkand. And you are right, the Uzbek people are very friendly and kind. One of my favourite countries in the world 😊🇺🇿

Please, come to Shahrisabz as well. If you are interested in Amir Temur, then you must see his birthplace. It takes only 2 driving hours from Samarqand to Shahrisabz

After Samarkand I go to Khiva, but one day I will make it to Shahrisabz as well, for sure. Thank you for your nice comment and I hope you enjoyed the Uzbek series so far 😊🇺🇿🇺🇿

Wow, thank you! That's the comment of the month for me. This is the reason I make videos. I am very glad you're enjoying them. Will try to launch a new one from Khiva soon.

An utterly charming place to spend your eternal sleep, so it's totally justified not to want to be disturbed...so this curse somehow makes sense..I really like the stories you tell sometimes, especially the dark ones! 🪦✨️

Loved your videos. May i ask how long did spend in Uzbekistan? And how much did you spend? Im planning to go soon
@WhereDoWeTravelNow6 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! I would say 2-3 weeks are enough, depending on how many places/cities you want to visit. I would spend at least 2-3 in each (Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva). Food and drinks are very inexpensive. Hotels can be very cheap too (from 10 dollars a day), but that depends on how much you want to spend, if you want something luxurious, etc.

Cool video - if you get back there could you film the Arabic inscription on the casket? I want to know if the curse inscription is real, and the only way is to see the casket and translate the Arabic.

Would have been interesting. I don't know when I'm gonna be back though. Could be years haha If you get the chance, go for it; I definitely recommend Samarkand and Uzbekistan in general!
