You could easily add to your list of best road trips US-395 from Mojave Desert in California through Nevada, Oregon and Washington to the Canada border. Absolutely beautyful all seasons. Gorgeous scenery, geology, history, National Parks, Ski resorts, ghost towns, etc all by or at a stone's throw from US-395. Thanks for posting

@@travelthetop For me Pacific Coast Highway is the most beautiful. I'm in Florida but last summer I had a chance to travel west coast and ride my bike from Montgomery to San Luis Obispo through Big Sur, it was amazing. I have the video on my channel if you wanna take a look. Thanks 😊

Very enjoyable and informative video! As a resident of Washington state, I was very pleased that you rate the Olympic Peninsula Loop so highly, but please let me make one slight correction to your otherwise excellent narration. You mentioned seeing "the snow-covered mountains of the Cascade Range" while traveling the Loop. The Cascade Range is not within the Olympic Peninsula and is around 50 miles to the east of the Puget Sound side of the Peninsula (where a distant view of the Cascades may indeed be possible). The snow-capped mountains one sees on the Peninsula itself are those of the Olympic Range, whose tallest peak, Mount Olympus, rises to an elevation of 7,980 feet. I look forward to seeing others of your videos and thank you for this one.

We drove Route 66 during the pandemic, While some things were closed, we loved our trip. No schedule, just drove each day until we were tired of driving. Did some research to find some of the truly unique sights, like the world's largest fork, a collection of Burma Shave signs, the boyhood home of Mickey Mantle, stood on the corner in Winslow, Arizona and the crochet museum in Joshua Tree, as well as some great little towns and BEAUTIFUL sights. The trip out was 13 days. GREAT!!!

Wow. You certainly covered something for just about everyone in this video. I like your choices and I've done some of them. I haven't done Rt. 66 yet. Can't make my mind up whether it is my thing or not. I enjoy "quirky" but after a while it gets on my nerves and that's a long trip. Maybe I can break it down for a few states - a shortened trip. Anyway, I enjoyed your video. Thank you.

My then girlfriend , now wife of 44 years , drove around the country for a year in 1976 . Smartest thing we ever did . Once the kids show getting away is difficult . Later in life we traveled all over the west coast in our 1982 VW Westphalia .
