Really glad you put Flash as number one - here's some other not well-known facts about the king: - He was an innovator beyond his time - he actually contacted olofmeister midway through the game with LDLC with instructions on how to utilize and win with the controversial "olofboost" - when Armada broke Mang0's shield, he was about to do a regular punish before Flash secretly contacted him to, and Flash calculated all possibilities and moments to know it would happen with 100% accuracy, pull another turnip since he knew it would be a stitch face and Armada could style on him with that - Flash was a fluent Tagalog speaker and coined the phrase "Lakad matatag" which he told the commentators about the day before the match. The commentators also attribute the "echo slamma jamma" to Flash as well. - Flash, during the match between Faker and Ryu, took control of Faker's Zed the moment Ryu started his ult on him - it would have been cleaner of a kill if Flash wasn't playing remotely on 25 ping and explains the turret shots and auto attacks Ryu got on him before the ult. - Flash granted Zero his ridiculous 56 straight tournament wins because of coaching and advice from Flash - he only lost his 57th because he forgot to pray towards Flash's location before MLG 2014. - Flash whispered into Simple's headset "throw the AWP" before the crucial moment on Dust. - Flash is responsible for directing and scoring the peach montage scene from the critically acclaimed South Korean movie , "Parasite".

A couple reason why Flash is the Greatest : Flash is the most successful player in the history of progaming in terms of qualification. Flash earned the award for "Most Wins in Proleague" four times Flash has the highest Elo rating record of all time. He broke the Elo record six consecutive and Flash is the only player to have an Elo peak in the 2400s. Flash is the first player in history to reach both individual league finals 3 times in a row. The Flash received a golden ruler after winning his third ASL championship, aswell as a golden trophy for winning three consecutive ASL championships. Flash is the first player in the history of Brood War to win 4 seasons of the same Premier tournament, winning his fourth ASL championship in Season 8. All of these ridiculous records and titles are cool and all, but what strikes me is how strong he actually is. There is no player so universally respected and feared. Most interviews with other top players devolve into them saying they probably can't beat him. He has consistently changed the meta by himself. His off races are both pro-level. His nickname is God for a reason

Firstly, fatality's games against tox were in quake 4, not quake 3 (toxic won btw). Honestly I'd put players like Flash from SC or Rapha/Cypher from Quake far above fatality. Anyone that has looked into it knows that many of his "WC" titles were either him racing a game on launch with a tiny pool of competitors, or winning so called "world" titles that had almost none of the best players at the event. There's a reason why most of the "hardcore" fans never liked fatality. All self promotion, branding and delusion to this day. Rapha and cypher dominated quake for far longer against far tougher competition while Flash was also in a bigger scene, being more recent and in SC... Ultimately, he was never the best painkiller player (vo0 was always better and lost like 1 event to fatality). He was nowhere near top at UT, though he did place 3rd at one respectable event (eswc 2003 or something). Was possibly the best quake 3 player for 1 year (first year of launch). Are you going to count wins from games like Alien versus Predator? lol Listing those accolades may sounds impressive, but plenty gamers have much longer lists on their wiki pages.

And unlike the legends in this list, knee is old but isn’t holding just his own against the best.. he literally is still one of the if not the best tekken player.

The issue is that sonicfox dominates games that don't even come close to pulling the competitive popularity of the other games on the list, if the list was "greatest players ever to dominate games that aren't in the list of the most popular in their genre" sonicfox would be unstoppable as #1 and the same can be said of knee until tekken 7 where he doesn't dominate as hard. The difference here is all the players in the list dominated the most popular game hence drawing in the highest level of competition

@sketch37444 жыл бұрын
@@sentsent3929 Bro you're str8 trippin if you think UZI was actually a better ADC than peak IMP or Peek Deft. UZI was massively overrated because of the back to back world finals thing in which his whole team both times just funneled all resources in to him and played comps specifically based around protecting him. I think you could argue to me he is the greatest ADC of all time and I would listen. 2nd best player of all time is str8 up ridiculous, He literally hasn't won anything and only displayed good form for 3-4 seasons. He joined super team OMG and literally made them worse...Also not to mention everyone both in China and that simply played against both RNG and EDG circa worlds 2013 Said Namei was the most skilled ADC in china. UZI is massively overrated. Not to say he wasn't good but he had an extremely brief time at his peak during which multiple other ADCS were arguably better and on top of that he won not nearly enough for someone who would be considered 2nd best of all time, He won 2 domestic titles and an MSI. Again, not bad by any stretch but none of it is 2nd best player of all time material, not skill-wise, not consistancy/length of career wise and not Trophy wise. If he doesn't make it in literally any of those categories by themselves then how can you honestly say he makes it overall. He regularly got smashed in lane by Deft and IMP around his 'rise to the top' and doesn't come close to the silverware they have and all are still playing with Deft easily looking the best of the 3 atm. That's just for ADC. Vs every other player for 2nd best next to Faker he literally doesn't come close. I've followed and played Lol since S1-S2 off season.
@sketch37444 жыл бұрын
@Matt Obra 1 'Outside of the game' factor should not make or break people on this list, that's absurd. Regardless my main point was to argue UZI being the best ADC of all time and the 2nd best player of all time like someone stated is not true.

Puppey and Kuro have only had a head start in Dota 2 by 2-3 years. They played dota 1 b4 that but if you're going to include that, then might as well include Notail's Hon days, which he dominated as well. Facts point to Notail having a much more stellar career so far, and in a relatively shorter amount of time than the 2. The list would probably have to be longer because "smaller" games have their legends, but it's hard to rank them comparatively with very popular games. In Age of Empires the player Viper is extremely dominant and in relation to other players, his level of success and dominance is comparable to others on this list. But the AoE2 e-sports scene is just too unknown. This needs to be a top 50 list and include some "smaller" e-sports. For example, Warcraft 3 was rivaling SC in popularity and players like Grubby could have easily been on that list.

@@yoriichi790 League players are more mechanically active than Dota players, but Dota is a harder game because it involves more multi-tasking and control tasks, though I don't want to get into that topic, very tired of it since the Doublelift thing. But yeah, there are other iconic players that should've been in this list, one name I'm surprised to see not make the list is Knee from Tekken. There's also Tokido, maybe Sonicfox? (not really a fan of the guy), and other FGC legends who could've made the list.

@Nameis Restless so he is a legend?? Dude the guy dont isnt that decorated, skilled but didnt win (did you just assume im not a league player?) If talking about legends, in dota, yamateh, dendi, puppey, or the old ehome squad with the black notebook These guys are gods Not yet talking about smash, there are gods of smash, old game but the mechanics are on par of seige or dota2 Uzi isnt even on par with the best outside of league
