Storm Blade is really good on Greatswords because, as you said, when you are up close, your weapon hits them BUT it makes the Greatsword swing sooo much faster. So you get Greatsword damage with Curved Sword speed. Ice Spear is amazing. Id put Impaling Thrust above some others you listed but still a good list

Storm blades pretty good on the 2h heavy Great Epee too. Weapon has much more range and basically gives you an improved R1 Moveset that does more damage than every greatsword besides the short gargoyles gs...and you can get both sword and ash straight away.

Admittedly I do not know the game as well as you or it's stats but I am a huge blood tax fan for it's piercing qualities to go with how it drains the opponents HP. I use it on the great katana. Apologies mate. Great video. Keep them coming.

you don't need to apologise! Blood tax is definitely up there as one of the best ashes - I just preferred these, that's all! If it makes you feel any better, it was part of my first draft but got dropped for wild strikes!

I think I might put royal knights resolve in top 5 since it makes buff stacking and one or two shotting great, I like giant hunt too, and phantom slash, the game has so many aow, I don’t think I can make a top 10 but cragblade, lion claw, blood blade being top 3 seems right

Yeah, royal's knight is defo up there - I just prefer using the others but make various One Shot builds with RKR is always fun!

Wing Stance is weird because while it's an infusable AoW, it's only really equipable on the Milady. It's infusable on light greatswords, but the Milady is the only infusable light greatsword in the game. I think they did it this way to allow players to switch the AoW on the Milady if they wanted and be able to switch back.

Use Spectral Lance with Blood Fiend's Fork wlth your preferred affinity, get Arrow reach talisman, Shards of Alexander, Filigreed and Dancer charm, have light load, shoot anything from kingdom far far away. I use Giant Hunt on Banished Knight Helberd and Double Slash on Banished Knight Great Sword, cold affinity is the best but pick whatever you think best. Prayerful strike on Black Knight Hammer is fantastic too and finally cold infused Flamberge or Cross Naginata with Repeating Thrust with all the necessary talismans. Experiment with these builds, anything except the Zamor knights will melt down easily, those Z knights are worse than a lot of bosses lol

I actually cut the clip out the vid, but I basically consider unsheathe the same as square off (because it does similar numbers in damage and stance) so technically, unsheathe would also be #6 :)

It is one of my personal favourites in terms of fun factor (I love the corpse launches) I just felt these did a little more damage/were more useful and cost efficient :)

@tkcjazza I'm just new to the game. I'm trying to figure it all all out. There's so much info, etc. Knowing it's been out to 2ys. There are so many patches & updates that it's hard to know what's good or bad, been nerfed or buffed & vise versa again. Reason why I look at newer content. Then, the older. But I'll keep searching till I find something useful to use. Ty.
