Crazy it gets an A scaling in strength. I actually fought morgott in my str playthrough with the same strat. I hate fighting that boss with slow weapons

It’s def a strength weapon. Drives me crazy when people say it’s an arcane weapon.

Since the last patch I think dual Giant Crushers became the best, the dual crouch attacks got really quick, barely cost any stamina and also proc multi hit talismans really well.

Awesome video! I’ve only just started playing around with Strength weapons on a new character so this was very helpful. I’m actually doing a Str/Int build (might switch to pure Strength) & using the Star Fists! Heaps of fun 😺

Watchdog's Greatsword! A rare drop but awesome strikes! I'm doing a play through with it currently. Added Lion's Claw for easy mode 😉

Beware the cheese! Great sword of solitude better be there :p! Yea n1 makes sense, it is a str weapon, but I do pure str builds, so I usually sleep on the Murais sword, appreciated for the list it helps.

No worries at all - I know a LOT of people will say Marias is NOT strength, but it scales best with strength and you still get stupid damage just by pumping all points into strength! I'm glad the video helps, there's a lot of cool weapons here :)

@@jasonjj1898 yeah, a lot of people don’t include “fun factor” in their lists - I get that, objectively, some weapons may do 100 damage per second more than these and are therefore “better.” But if that weapon is not fun to use, then there’s no point using it and therefore cannot be a top weapon imo! I’m glad the video was enjoyable :)

Gaius lance is one of the best strength weapons, its scaling is A, almost S and its damage is astronomical. Weird to not see it in this list.

I just personally don't like the weapon - Pretty sure when I tried it, it did similar numbers to the ones in this list so although it scales better, damage output wasn't any better or worse than those on the list :) - Edit: same goes for things like the serpent hunter

@@Ктото-г2я8й zweihander naturally scales better with dex but ofc if you make it heavy, then it’s one of the best (I just wasn’t including affinity changes) but the other two weapons fall off hard in NG+7 - still really good choices, just that’s why they weren’t in my list :)

Finally a proper BONK vid. Ok watching the vid missing some bonk on numer 6-4 and Marais executioner sword is not a strength weapon bro it’s arcane and if we leave that away the good thing with strength weapons is that they are not just ash of war spam so I would declare the marais executioner sword to NOT be a strength weapon cause what u are explaning is like putting chicken leg in there.

Chicken leg is more of a split scaling tho - like It's C str, C arc so can be either - Marias is more of a strength as it has B str and only D arc - I would say it's still a strength weapon but either way, if it wasn't #1 here, it would be #1 for arcane as it's just too good not to be #1 lol

@@gamerzproto2912 I have been considering ashes - strength stat buffs the ash which is why I was still able to do a load of damage - Only other weapon you might be thinking of is SONAF for INT/Faith lists - I didn't include it due to needing high stats in both, so isn't one or the other - Marias is more strength in my opinion hence why it's here :)

appearing in a future list - it's realistically an Arcane weapon, for the same reason why Ordovis' greatsword isn't in the list as I would say that is a faith weapon :)

Because not everyone has the DLC yet - I know at least 20-30% of my audience doesn't and appreciates the fact I don't show DLC boss fights/spoil anything or when I make specific videos on DLC, make it clear that there is spoilers :)

@@Themissleawaysknowswhereitis Again, not everyone can afford to play it/have time to play it & may play it in the holidays for the first time - It's also really not that big of an issue as if you have max scadutree rating, all weapons deal 200% damage so just double the damage you see it doing in base game :)

Bro you are never going to proc rot with a great hammer 😭😭 One of the lowest damage in class, lowest range. Garbage unfortunately

@@leonardostefani1271 you do as it has 65 rot build up naturally, I’m in NG+7 so it takes roughly 5/6 hits to proc (depending on enemies ofc) and it’s really not that bad - look at the damage it’s dealing compared to the greatsword, borderline the same and it’s quicker :)
