*NEW* "The TOP 5 BEST WEAPONS in Elden Ring!" (v1.14 Updated List)

Hey everyone! I hope you're doing well - Like I mentioned in the intro, I am sure most of you have probably used these weapons, but thought I would show you that base game weapons can still be just as OP as they were before just by using some of the new items from the DLC. One item I didn't use was the Blood Sucking Cracked Tear which will give you another 20% boost to damage, at the cost of HP deduction over time, so feel free to swap that into the builds if you want the ABSOLUTE best damage possible! The Nagakiba with an occult piercing fang ash of war completely outclasses rivers of blood. Better base bleed, better poise damage, lower fp costs and crazy range.

Expect to make that work you need to do more work. Rob does out poise what you stated. It's faster, and more range. Nagakiba is clunky.

@@MikeKaz02 I just use piercing fang or unsheathe usually. Unsheathe is very strong now when paired with Rellana’s Cameo from the dlc. Blood tax also works very well with an occult affinity. For stats I run 40 vigor 17 mind 20 endurance 18 strength 30 dex 9 int 25 faith (for buffs) 80 arcane

This is a good list. And I've tried every single one of these, fully upgraded, in NG+ and in SotE. However, my current fave weapon is Falling Beast Jaw. It is absolutely devastating, and there are very few, if any, NPCs that can resist its gravity damage AoW. While Blasphemous blade is great, when you go up against magic resist enemies, it just won't do any good. Falling Beast Jaw is DEVASTITING on charged attacks, regular attacks, and the art. It can kick ANYTHING in game, melee or at ranged distance, and at very little FP cost. I've been quite impressed using this thing.

Hello - thank you very much for your video. I actually went into the DLC as a rather below-average player with NG+7 and had to fight hard. A Blasmephous build similar to yours helped me a lot. However, I haven't been able to get Malenia since NG+7 - not even with the Mimic.

I still play the DLC with 3 weapons in the the same build: 1)Radagon's Hammer 2) Blasfemous Blade 3) Black Knife My shield is the Fingerprint Shield. My armour is the Black Fame Monk's kit. Badass!

I tend to get bored easily, so I switch weapon often. The Marais executioner is also my favorite weapon but I don't use it anymore (2 playthrough with it, strenght/arcane build). Currently I have a dexterity/int build and I powerstance the Star Lined Sword which has a very nice skill. About the DLC weapons, I think the most interesting weapons require a strenght/faith build.

Thank you for the video, enjoyed it! But I must say - those builds aren't viable in NG+ and beyond. You can't just slap on every single damage buff and call it a build there. You got to think about your defense as well. At the very least you should have 60 vigor and Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman. And maybe only use Shabriri Howl on ranged builds. Those builds work perfectly fine on NG0, though!

These builds are fine in later NG's - Footage is from NG+2 but are still capable even up to NG+7 - yes, it isn't great in defence but with max scadutree fragments it has around 50-60% resistances even with Howl active and this video was more focused on getting the best out of the weapon rather than making a proper build (i did mention this a couple of times in the vid) but you're right, if you're struggling you can add a dragoncrest or equivalent talisman on and help with defence for whatever boss you're coming up against :)

Why doesn’t Elden ring have a burning status effect. You have scarlet rot, poison, frostbite, even death blight, but with all the fire attacks no burning status.

@@obndep if you are talking to me, I’m on my 12th playthrough, so yes I’m more than aware how the extra damage mitigation works with bosses in general, hence my statement. Damage numbers are no where in the vicinity of this video and bosses are certainly not be 4-6 shotted with these weapons in ng+7. Many weapons are OP in first play through and you do not have the same results as in this video on NG+7. If that were the case, then yes, the weapons would be OP if bosses are killed this quickly in ng+7. That is after all the true endgame in Elden Ring and most soul games. The first playthrough is the tutorial in soul based games.

@@obndep I’m not talking about what is meta and what isn’t, that’s not my point. The point is that this video makes it appear these weapons do crazy damage, and they do, in new game only. Again, you will not be 6 shoting bosses in ng+7 gameplay. That’s the shock and awe of this video, look at all this damage, I can do, I can kill a boss in 10 seconds, in the higher new game levels you can’t. Why do you think the ng cycle is omitted in the title? It wouldn’t look as impressive on ng+7, that’s why.

Fun fact, the weapons still do similar damage in NG+7 & this gameplay is from NG+2 - You may see like a 1-2k damage drop off which means all you need to do is hit the enemy one more time in NG+7 and you're good - I have made loads of videos in past on NG+7 onwards, just this one was with a newer character as it already had the larval tears and I play on console so cannot change my build through commands.
