As much as I LOVE the one on Bird, I think that the Parish one is downright FILTHY. 'Nique calls for it on the break from Spud, but slows to barely a walk...when Spud bounces it to him, he basically just does a drop step from an almost STANDSTILL, and cranks it on Parish. Definitely Manu Ginobili in the 2014 finals between Ray Allen and Bosh. Manu was old, personally felt he let the team down in their 2013 Finals loss, the Spurs were down by double digits in this would-be closeout game but this dunk snuff out the Heat from here on, and Ray Allen shoved Manu's teammate Belinelli on a way to a powerful dunk in its own right earlier in the series, and finally it's just beautiful.

As a Lakers fan, I will admit that the Lob City era Clippers were absolutely a fun team to watch. Blake and DeAndre catching lobs from CP3 is a match made in heaven. I did like Kobe's dunk on Gerald Wallace and Kris Humphries. What made it good was a few things 1. It was away from home 2. It was against two guys 3. Those two are forwards 4. Those two are younger than him 5. One of them was in the All-Defensive 1st team 6. He was 34

No it's bc this was Kobe turned to the max carrying the pride of LA on his back. This is most significant season. That team was filled w nurses and doctors bc they were a hospital except when it came to getting them healthy. Kobe even missed Game's early but played through various injuries. Not to mention Mike's system didn't work so he was just there lol It was pretty much Kobe and one other guy rotating between Nash Paul Dwight. Most of them were too injured to make much a difference when they played anyways. So during this run it was like Kobe kept turning the clock back and some of the posters in his career all while becoming a 3x2x PG. We've never seen that man run so many damn pnrs 😂. More that year than entire career. And he had Shaq to screen ffs🤣🤣. It was battered Kobe, solo, playing out his element, rotating lineups, racing clawing to playoffs bc he's not letting the team he loved as a kid down. All past or tail end of prime. Proving LA isn't all glitz and glamour. The stars were made through searing hot iron will. Greatest carry job ever. Not star stacked at all Then by the end of the season they all get healthy except Dwight but enough to consistently play. Only for Kobe to not even touch the PO while Spurs destroy them. If it wasn't for West Kobe is the goat Laker period. It was like watching the kid sacrifice his life for the team he loved. Always so sad that season. Like he was defending West and Baylor shortcomings and all of LAs past failures and he wouldn't let them touch dirt here. Not his team not the most legendary franchise ever. That's when Kobe sealed himself as LAs mascot. The heart and soul

A personal favorite of mine is Olajuwon's dunk on Ewing, not so much for the throw down but for Olajuwon hitting Ewing with the prettiest spin move I've ever seen before dunking it. My all time favorite dunk is when Shawn Kemp was against the Knicks. He goes up for a dunk, then brings the ball back in to get under the arm of the defender, then reverse slams it. Beautiful stuff.

One of my favorites is a dunk Michael Jordan did on the Bucks Jack Sikma. Grant or Cartwright tipped an offensive rebound out and he caught it then hop stepped and pretty much did a standing poster dunk. It looked bad ass!!!

One of my favorites is Giannis dunking over CP3 in Game 5 of the Finals, after jrue holiday strips Booker and then lobs it to Giannis who throws it down with CP3 trying to punch his nuts. This was my favorite player doing what he’s best at in the biggest moment of his career, giving the bucks the game 5 win, a 3 game win streak and basically ended the series there. Also the stare into the camera showing how much this means to him. Maybe not the most impressive dunk but it definitely is my favorite.

KG goes in for an offensive rebound, the shot falls short ricocheting off the bottom of the rim. In air, dude grabs the ball at his ankles and brings it all the way back up and 2 hands it before his feet hit the floor. Ill never forget the image.

I think a very underrated dunk that should get an honorable mention is Aaron Gordon’s poster on Landry Shamet during the christmas day game between the nuggets and the suns in 2023. It was an extremely clutch moment too; they were only up 124-123 and had 30 seconds left of overtime. It almost got ruled an offensive foul but it ended up counting.
