*Argument:* Kalluto Zoldyke's *Dance of Confetti* is actually very powerful and should not be ranked so low, as the only enemy we see it used against, are the Chimera Ants, that a missing limb doesn't do much to. Humans missing a limb is much more serious and almost ensures death. The fact that this Ability can be used in secret, like she did when she put pieces of paper on ALL of the Phantom Troupe and be used from a distance, makes this attack truly versatile, efficient, and powerful.

@@Fillardmillmore Kalluto's Nen Ability can be used just like Hisoka's and Machi's Nen, in that it can be attached to the opponent with almost any physical attack, making it extremely hard to deal with. While Kalluto Zoldyke wears a shihakusho, we can assume that her skills and hand to hand combat are quite extensive, as the Zoldykes raise their children through physical training, before exposing them to Nen, as seen with Killua and Milluki.

Its definitely a surprising assassination. Who would expect to be dead from a papercut? So indeed very powerful. One hit, and youre dead. Unless Kalluto done a full massacre and let the target's friends or teammates find out your ability, but keep in mind, the general rule of nen abilities is discrete. Since the familys profession is assassination, we can guess there isnt too much chance for this. Secondary. He is still a kid. While the family expectations are high, this is an example of lack of life wisdom. Same way as Gons Jajanken is childish, yet effective.

He creates paper caricatures of the people she attaches it to and that gives her audio access at all times, which is perfect for assasination and espionage.

I saw someone in the last video comparing Doctor Blythe unfavorably to Machi’s Nen Stitches, probably because both of them were used to reattach an arm and Pitou’s took longer. But Blythe doesn’t simply reconnect existing parts but can create brand new tissue and completely heal the wound (Hisoka was warned to give his reattached arm time to heal properly).

My read on it was that explaining the rules of Tag was part of the activation requirement, but explaining the consequences of losing was not. There's no way Cheetu knew everything else about his ability and somehow didn't know what would happen to the target if they failed to catch him.

Doctor blythe's ranking is poorly though out. I think its very creative to use your nen ability for medical purposes. Versatility should also be higher since it can heal most life threatening injuries.

Versatility means it can be used in different ways. Aside from healing people, it serves no other purpose. Maybe it can prevent Pitou from flying off if they get thrown, since summoning it restricts Pitou's movements, but that's about it. As for creativity, there's nothing creative about healing. It's pretty straightforward and doesn't have any nuance.

@@Theta117 no, Doctor Blythe isn't what they use to control other people. It's a different hatsu. Also, no, creativity means making a technique that, well, makes creative use of one's aura. Think of Kurapika's Emperor Time where he makes use of his red eyes as a trigger to boost his abilities. Also, no, healing hatsu isn't a wholly unique concept. There are a lot of healers in HxH and I believe they're even their own category. Maki has her own healing hatsu. So does Kurapika. And Biscuit. And Hisoka to some degree. Leorio is also implied to use Nen in being a surgeon. Nen doctors also exist. So yeah. Summoning a puppet surgeon isn't exactly a groundbreaking idea.

Yes, we saw it work, but i argue 3 things, who fuse into one thing: -Those victims were SIMPS; and not many people are SIMPS. -Yes, one of those SIMPS was a Nen-User, but mind point 3. -Being a Simp and being a Nen-User can apply totally seperated. One does not affect the other. I say that this Nen-Ability would fail against many if not most NON-Nen-Users!! Also, for extra-stupidity, i remind you all at her talking like 'What? I'll go to the grave defending Dr. Blythe as one of the best hatsu. Thing can pretty much resurrect someone from near death or turn them into a Frankenstein monster. Komugi got up after almost being killed because of Dr. Blythe. The only comparable nen healing we have is Nen Threads which takes a fair bit of time before it becomes ready again and probably can't fix destroyed organs and keep someone on the brink of death.

I feel like the efficiency rating is a little hard to quantify, since it is literally the only ability we've seen that just fully and completely replaces missing body parts. It could simply be something that Pitou is doing extremely efficiently, yet the very idea of recreating flesh is just THAT costly. There's no way to know, since we've never seen something even close to the level that Pitou uses it at, and are probably unlikely to ever see again without MASSIVE restrictions placed on it that limit the ability in some other way.

ye but it took hours to heal komougi and in a fight tahts useless. its only as a medical after fight hatsu wich was never used. for example killuas godspeed and whirlwind play into his advantages and skill. hes immune to lightning, hes already fast and has a lot of aura amd theres no fight where it wouldnt be able to be utalized. hes also an assasin that can kill fast paired with unmatched speed is very op. that is what a good hatsu is

I think Cheetu's 1st ability is quite OP if used right tho. Imagine it was in the hands of our boys instead of a chimera ant. They can trap a royal guard there ..and make them chase them , something like Morel's smoky jail , but without an escape. Its downside is that it lasts for so long.. if it was 30 minutes or an hour it would've been great. I mean if your opponent is way stronger than you , but you're faster , and smarter ( not Cheetu lmao ) you can keep them there. The ability could be better implemented like ..the more time it passes before they catch you the greater the punishment. IF Killua is faster than Meruem , he can just run around for an hour and deal dmg when the condition to catch him isn't met. The longer he lasts the greater the dmg .. Idk the ability could be quite strong imo if slightly modified.

You forget about a secondary ability from dance of the serpents bite. It’s implied that by making paper cutouts of a person and sticking confetti on them, the user can hear everything that is happening around the target, not to forget that after the defeat of the ant she fought, car mentioned that it was a nasty habit she had to prolong and torture her opponents so it seems she can do more with the ability than first shown

According to the situation Pitou's ability was S++ . She healed king, Komigu and herself. There was nothing else needed of her. For king to be able to fight and not lose his interest. King however did almost nothing with his. So it was E+ at best. However strong or smart he was.

I could see where Dance of the serpent's bite 6:28 could be over powered, it was 1000s of paper blades that could cut though steel . . . it was basically Byakuya Kuchiki's (scatter) from Bleach. On top of her paper dolls that could hear and track targets she would probably able to combine the two using air flow to just make a death tornado to kill her targets without being seen or near them at all plus with the amount of paper blades in the air shooting her would be extremely hard, getting close would be even harder. As an assassin with those abilities idk what could be more overpowered than her seemingly weak and dainty attacks.

The zoldycs ability only seemed that way because he was fighting an ant with a hard outer shell so he was only hittin the soft spot, now, on a regular or even nen user, waaaaay more pieces would probably hit a target. It's also very sneaky, who dodges tiny paper bits. It can definitely be used for assassination. Stick 1 to a person and just wait til they are alone then hurricane their ass lol

Kastro as a nen user wasn't great, but his abilities were actually pretty amazing. It was stated during his fight with Hisoka that he could've become one of the strongest nen users in the world if he'd focused on mastering the Tiger Bite Fist. And though he shouldn't have tried it in the first place, the ability to make a doppelganger that can use your other nen abilities with seemingly no reduction in power could be devastating in the right hands. It really shouldn't be so low on the list just because an enhancer couldn't master it very efficiently

Cheetus crossbow is actually solid ! If cheetu made a condition that his arrow speed is slower than he is then it will become more powerful . If he would only put some extra thought into it . It could actually be super useful but no one ever mentions it , cheetu can run extremely fast , so imagine him shooting constant arrows while running ! He could safely fire without getting too close ! And he could probably fire a lot of them in quick succession too , and he can combine the slow movement speed of the arrows with the claw he has to close gaps and get them stunned or distracted for several incoming arrows ! He could make the claw part even stronger if he is restricted to using it as a stabbing tool and only as such , so he can only impale with that claw and not slash , and can only be used on 3 occasions on the same person , if he was smart he would make this ability a godsend

I just realized that Camilla's ability is crazy good. When she fights, she wouldn't use any aura for defense. She could use ko without consequence. If you hit her with a normal nen punch, she dies and wins. She could even bait people into it by using zetsu right before someone lands a blow. It doesn't really matter if they know the ability. They have to restrain but not kill a proficient nen user with crazy offense and the defense of a non nen user. This severely limits the options of most. Just using ren might kill her if she doesn't use ten. What counts as killing her is also very ambiguous. Could she throw herself into ten head-first like Gon, and break her neck for the ability to activate? Even if someone knows the ability, they probably wouldn't know the exact mechanics and would have to use utmost caution.

I don't think some of these can be considered the worst, you are ranking these based on fighting capabilities. Some of these are support abilities, such as Palms, in a fight, she could keep tabs on all forces and can send backup when necessary changing the flow of the battle. Or nen exorcism. These abilities aren't suitable for fighting but they can be extremely helpful as support. You ranked these based on fighting capabilities and nothing else.

Double could absolutely be really useful for Castro if he used it sparingly and dumped the rest of his nen into enhancer type attacks. It would not only be extremely deadly, but it would also possibly throw opponents off as to which type of nen user he is if his ability was revealed.

hold up, living dead dolls allows the user to use the nen abilities, if any of the corpse being puppeted. that was relevant in the csatle invasion becuase of the surveillance ability he was able to access. it definitely didnt belong here.

For cats name before every battle I would get a watch that reacts to my heart beat and say "go ahead, kill me before this timer goes off or else you'll be the one not leaving this room" to make them think my ability was time gated and when my heart stops it makes the watch go off, so when I resurrect I just say "oh just a little too late" so anybody else who sees it feels a panicked need to get me as soon as possible, not giving them time to think and making it likely people spying would relay false info of my ability

Kastro is worse than we thought: We know now that not just Telepathy (which could be used to confuse or overstimulate Enemys) but literal Holograms and therefore ‚Illusionmagic’ are pure Emitter-Abilitys. So his excuse he used his worst Types cause he wanted to be ‚tricksy’ is outta the window. Even with abandoning his own Type, he could have become a Discount-Knuckle or even something better maybe.

this list is so terrible, you didn't think it through almost everything here was great, hotel raffelsia is insanely op, did you forget he fought 1v1 against a guard, that's why it looked weak, most people dont have 1000 eyes and arms they can grow out whenever they want, the double ability was a 0 in suitability but the ability itself was stupidly op in every other way, hisoka even says the ability itself was stong as hell and hisoka would've lost easily if he didn't make him panick, you know hisoka? one of the strongest nen users alive? yeah that guy.. the hair ability is really good too, did you forget leaning about someone might includes their weaknesses? clairvoyance is stupid op too even the worse one. the paper ability was used to toy with the ant showing an ability we don't really know here and in its one use was used just to fuck with some dude is kinda weird. actually almost everything here is wrong where is that stupid ass rock paper scissors ability of gon? that shit is wack.

The doctor hatsu was a good ability. Yeah it was thought up on a whim, but its incredibly powerful. For one it's the best/consistently useable healing ability on HxH. She saved a non Nen user girl who was hit fatally by a powerful Nen attack and kept her alive, and when she woke up was perfectly healthy. Which probably means that if you don't kill them she can bring them back to perfect condition within an hour, and can be used on yourself as well. It has incredible battle and war potential. And the user was also able use it to give themselves, who was already the strongest Royal Guard, even more power and speed. And with Nen becomes more powerful in dead, was able to keep fighting the super powered Gon. Except creativity, it should have been given 20 or more points, and if the ability was actually thought out than it would be 25.

I've never understood the issue with cheetu all he had to do was to set a condition at the end of the 8 hours, their nen gets drained or they can't activate hatsu afterwords, the crossbow isn't as bad as people imply though, yes cheetu is faster than the bolt but even at high speeds you dont always want to close to melee, in cheetu's hands its a perfect harassment weapon, Dipping in and out of range to get shots off on the opponent, if the enemy had any reason to chase him it would be a devastating combo with really high suitability

If scissor hands had the ability to identify nen characteristics like what hatsu and which nen affinity, it would be quite a scary ability. He could have a stable job of just eating hair, but I doubt the conditions of such information would be revealed by just hair though.

Instant-Lover and Cat's Name are even worse than described here, BUT WHATEVER! More importantly: we fans should really start making our own Hatsu (especially non-mono-types) and rank them. everyone always shit talks crossbow and claws, but when i yrc a fireball, i'm very thankful i can move faster than it and combo ahead of time. i really think it deserves more credit that the fandom gives it. if someone made a hatsu that fired slow moving projectile and in that same hatsu was included a weapon to capitalize on it AND it was made instantaneously in a moment of panic AND that same moment of panic was because the user CAN'T TOUCH THEIR OPPONENT, i would say it's pretty alright. just because it's not enough, doesnt mean it's no good at all. not sure if the claws count for tag though and i doubt cheetu did either but he didnt need to hit morel with the claws, he needed to try to sever the smoke. it just didnt work because he didnt know the smoke couldnt be cut.

I would argue Nen Exorcism doesn't just work on Nen Curses. Like if Knuckle put Chapter Bankruptcy on you, Nen Exorcism would remove that.

Shouldn't this list be named worst abilities for direct combat? Or that not good enough for a for a title? Disagree with Kalluto's ability. Thought the implication was that she uses all the confetti to find a weak spot then targets it. Ranged abilities period are rare and he basically has Mace Window's Shatterpoint. Not like he can't fight in close quarters and opponents probably can't get away from the paper once stuck unless they remove it. Against a serious opponent I doubt she plays around giving them hints how it works. Same for Shoot. Debilitating targets with every strike isn't amazing? It's not effective only when he fully entraps someone. Think both of these crap on a lot of Enhancer Hatsu like Uvogin, Phinx, Gotoh, and yes Gon. We just seen these skills used impressively. Shizuku, Pakunoda, Kortopi, and Bonelov(not Jupiter) don't make the list?

Netero should be number 1. He's an enhancer, and his main nen ability uses conjuration and manipulation. It's not exactly versatile in any way outside of basic fighting and is simply outclassed in every other way by Castro's double. The only difference is that Netero has ridiculous amounts of aura. So, seeing as Pito was on the list, then I don't see why Netero isn't

I like Cheetu’s crossbow and claws. Well, I am not Cheetu. I am not fast. I am slow. A crossbow that helps me attack a target from a distance that come with claws so I can use it when fighting in a close combat - sure. The down side is it lack the super power part. It is a just a regular crossbow with claws. If I am as fast as Cheetu, a gun might be a better upgrade. Shooting a gun surely faster than shooting a crossbow. I like the claws part the same way I like Feitan’s and Killua’s claws for people who can transform their hands to claws like them.

I don't think your score for Gon's transformation is right. It's extremely efficient, it was devised as a one and done Pitou killer and a creative use of restriction and covenant. It's highly efficient because he wanted it and got it. It's creative because it uses the Nen system creatively to give him the power he needed. It's extremenly unversatile because once it's used, it's gone forever and lasts ??? long and it's not suitable for anyone because it kills you.
