@Adam Bobrow: I'm absolutely fascinated from your backhand return with 360 dregrees turnaround which appeared in your match against that youn japanese talent, whose table-tennis addicted family you've visited a few times. I've never played in a club, but i've been a pretty good return-player, who has been used to catch most balls - exept their speed was to high, to react properly. Since my weakness has always been lack of aggresive attacks, i've mostly won with leading my oponents to make faults. My best 'attack' has been a real quick & flat backhand with spin, which I've been able to use in many ways. I absolutely like the way you share your love for this amazing play that - indeed - can bring all kinds of people together. I don't like bare competitions for the win and 'honor' / 'praise'. Same goes for bad loosers or condescending winners. Confidence is a good thing, of course. But being over-confident almost up to a narcist-point is not good. I like to spend time with people enjoying a game much more, than i like to win a match / competition. Keep up spreading the love and fun for this great sport. I absolutely like your positive energy & thought / belief that table tennis / ping pong can unite people of all nations, colors, ages, sizes and genders. It's always nice to see people realising, that they have the joy for this game in common. Dividing upon differences is not positive. It's better to find similarities, which can build a basement of upcoming positive interactions. Not everything need to be separated into likes and dislikes (latter to be avoid as often as possible), but is way to often standard by many humans.
