it is amazing, I always knew since I was kid why I love Jeeps....The first time when I saw a Jeep it was in 1968 in the Netherlands. They used the CJ for hauling boats out of the sea at the beachline. I was 3 years old and knew my first car will be a CJ. Today here in Germany I go by Jeeps daily, a 1980 CJ7, a Wrangler YJ, a 1984 J10 Laredo and 1985 J10 Pioneer. I got ridd off the rolling european computers in the past and started to overhaul the J10 's 15 years ago. So all my Jeeps are restored yet and I am checking out for another challange....

US/CHINA aftermarket manufacturers, Please make an old-school Gladiator front clip for the new Jeep Gladiator. I just don't care a lot for the new 4 door Jeep pick up being named Gladiator. The old school concept would have been awesome! Someone will manufacture these, hopefully.

The two door pickup screams Jeep Pickup way louder than a 4 door Gladiator. Why FCA wouldn't bring this out sooner, I just don't understand. Other than the fact that a million 4 doors wouldn't have been sold, but instead, a theoretically cheaper 2 door would have been bought. And the same length of a 4 door JL? Every aftermarket accessory, bolt on cosmetic and performance part made for the JL will be suddenly available for the pickup. Except possibly a few 4 door roof and rear bed arcticles of offroad excitement. But regardless of this all...... Come just build it and take my money! Got a long arm lift and 37's waiting!

Sadly I think it really comes down to sales figures. Four-door model Wranglers have largely outsold the traditional two-door shortly after it was introduced back in 2007. Even though two-doors would be better suited for off-roaders and enthusiasts alike (and me, I'd buy a two-door long bed JT in a heartbeat), FCA is going to be thinking about the dollars. Keep your fingers crossed! You never know! -Zach

They are sure pushing the Gladiators. I suspect none of the Gladiator builds actually had to pay for the donor truck. Jeep likely provides them free of charge. I’m clearly not a fan, but can definitely see the appeal and to each their own. Some of the wranglers there looked pretty nice! I don’t understand all these comments that something is “so gay” or just “gay”. People can like whatever they want! I’d you don’t agree, fine. You don’t need to prove just how homophobic you are in responding. There are many other terms that have been developed over the centuries to state your dislike. I am thinking I’m old enough to be your grandfather, father for sure. Is all of the new generation running around with the mentality of a 12 year old? Disappointing! Of note! I know there are some awesome people of all generations, just not too many here.

I swear to god Hennessy is the Apple of the automotive world. They bolt $30,000 worth of parts onto a vehicle and somehow get people to pay $150,000 for labor. I just don't understand. I get people who go to shops or buy rather than build that is not what I am talking about. Think about it really. What did they do to that Gladiator. A lift kift, engine swap, axle swap, some bumbers, and lights. If anyone want one I will undercut them by $10,000 build a shop, build you a Gladiator with 1,000 hp, and put $50,000 in the bank.

A $225k truck ? The sema show just like any of these Jeep videos is to show what you could possibly do to your rig but they’re pushing this gladiator so much that the builds are not realistic and for me it’s turning me off to the vehicle !!

SEMA is really for builds like that, though. *Everything* is going to be over the top and crazy expensive, regardless of which vehicle you're looking at there. That's what SEMA is all about. Jeeping is never going to be super cheap, but you can easily build a Wrangler or Gladiator on a budget. Looking at fitting 33s or 35s for on-road driving? Get yourself a 1.5" spacer lift for about $100, or maybe some Rubicon take-off suspension for around $300. Want to run 35s for serious off-roading? Complete lift kits are going to run around $1000-2500 or a bit more depending on what shocks you're looking at. Wheels are tires can greatly vary in price, but you can find budget options for them easily as well. Extra accessories like bumpers or lights? There's thousands of options available at many price levels. Long story short, not every build needs to be stupid expensive. Hope this helps! -Zach

ExtremeTerrain.com thanx Zach I was just observing the builds I own a 2017 Jeep Wrangler unlimited rubicon recon 2.5” rock krawler lift 35” nitto tires 17” machete powder coated beadlocks yeti tie rod and draglink 1350 driveshafts upgrading steering box led rear lights tinted windows dual batteries etc over 14k spent so I understand cost it’s just that it’s getting outrageous !!

Damn, sounds like a nice rig! I thought you were a newer Jeep owner or someone looking to get into the club and thought you *needed* to spend that kind of money to build something. So that's my mistake. 😂 But absolutely, it's not a cheap hobby. I've been going to local Jeep events for the past 6 or 7 years and it always gets me seeing these massive builds that cost more than a small home.
