Hey guys, loved the video, but was curious as to what flashlight you had mounted to the number one gun, the 8.6 Boombox blackkout? Someone was shooting the 8.6 at night with an attached flashlight and according to the video the flashlight had a very tight throw at good distance...... Thanks, peace and grace!

That’s not a flash light. It’s a LAM (laser aiming module) for shooting under Nods. It’s the Eotech OGL 😉

Took a whitetail with an 8.6 sub, Makers bullet. Absolutely devastating. Anyone poo pooing 8.6 and the fast twist has never used it. That wound channel was unbelievable

Top 5 in my mind is too narrow a list, but it most certainly needs to include all of Q rifles. Q is the only brand to my mind that is truly innovating. With that said, I think BCM for the money is the best rifle at the $1500 range.

Why 8.6 being compared to long range calibers or ar-10 platforms? it’s more like .458 socom for me. Big, punishing but can’t shoot past a couple hundred yards. we already have that

8.6 blk ammo isn't going to come down in $$$ in comparisons to intermediate rounds. The 338 arc from hornady in the same manner will fall short in ammo availability

Love this list. I have a Savage 110 (not the ultralight) myself, it is wonderful. All of my builds have at least one Aero part in them, and their Pro stuff is incredible. I haven’t gone down the PDW rabbit hole yet, but when I do, I know 10mm will be one of them. But your #2 and #1, couldn’t agree more. I built my 8.6 earlier this year, and it’s quickly become my favorite rifle. Just wish the ammo was more readily available and cheaper (hint, hint, hint…). I sent that build into you guys for your next Bust Your Build series, and I hope you take a look at it.
