3 MOA is still smaller than a human thorasic cavity at 600 yards. What is your target? For anything made for 2 legged game on the 2 way range, 3MOA is "good enough". I built a 16" Aero M5e1 in 6.5 CM. That's the most balanced, multipurpose rifle I have ever build. Hit pretty hard up to 500 yards, with the right muzzle brake the recoil is rather smooth, and compact enough to move from room to room.

Yep, same size as a 5.56 AR-15 and not much more weight. POF is ahead of everyone with their innovations, roller cam pin, heat sink barrel nut, anti tilt buffer tube, e square extraction Any piston is better than any DI. Over the years I’ve had a ton of fun building….mainly ar15 dpms type setups. But I have to say the spear 308 (13” WITH the extra 16” barrel) would be all I need for shtf. Glock 45 (with 19x 19 rnd mags) and an mp5 9mm and I’d be set. My gear would be full if 7.62x51 snd 9mm only easy to carry and all situations covered.

Jason won this one hands-down… I think the biggest difference was the HK was knocked because of price which makes sense….the sphere was given the number one spot because of its versatility. I love my Ptr g1 Had for many years Good bdc scope on it and great at 1,2,3,4 hundred yards At 400 yards you need good ammo Great battle rifle and I only paid 1k for it Great gun and back when it came out it was one of the best Granted technology has changed over the years but this rifle is very accurate but very heavy I see a hk on the list PTR is basically the same Glad to see hk on the list

Personally... my choices would be a bit narrower. Most of the clunky weird actions would be towards the bottom of my list. The SCAR wouldn't make it because it's too light for a "battle rifle". Any of the AK style rifles would be in 3rd place. The M-14 would be 2nd because I know the rifle so well I can strip it down and reassemble it in less than 2 minutes blindfolded, and I have the option of running a bayonet. The SPEAR would be among the runner ups. I have no experience with it, so I'm on the fence until I can get some trigger time with it. #1....🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁 It's a tie with M110, SR25, MK12, M16A2/A4, and the HCAR.

Haven't shot the galil, but the SCAR was not impressive to me. I still can't cope with the fact the galil strays from the classic AK formula. I'm turning into a fudd guy, just with a different platform as I can't bring myself to buy anything not made in the original izhmash plant (pre-2010). My x39, S12, and 308 were all made there in 2009 (plus both nagants, m44 & 91/30, albeit 1944)

For me, 5 and 4 go to Maya. For number 3, I would take the HK over knights, but I agree with the position of Knights being 3 as the HK should be higher up. at Number 2 its close for me and I could sway either way. At number 1, its also close to me, but I think overall I would take the the spear over the HK personally, but I do really love the m110a1.

Considering the cost of all of them, KAC being the affordable one...I'll stick to the ArmaLite AR-10B series...unfortunately after Westrom retired and sold the company...the current AR-10As and the M-15s are shadows of the previous rifles... Oh and scars suck...i'ld rather have a PA-10.
