Cayth is my #1 fave commandee of the set. I made 7 solemn simulacrums in the span of 2 turns. It was such a good feeling. It's the jeskai artifact deck I've always wanted

EDHREC waits until a certain amount of decks are published and at least two weeks are out. Scryfall won’t add cards until they are officially confirmed (most of the leaks were not added until the spoiler season confirmed them).

I thought that extort doesn't count for the color identity of the card for commander... so Sorin here isn't a white creature... so that - 6 ability is weird.

Oh... I think I understand that the color of the commander comes also from the color of the planeswalker on the flip... which is shown in the colour of the border or that little colour dot. Still seems weird.

​@@rossgilbert4768extort's reminder text doesnt influence the color identity of a card, in this case sorin's planeswalker side as you've pointed out is represented to have orzhov identity because of that color circle. Whenever a card has two sides usually the card has the identity of both sides

The best thing to do is to go to a local game store on Friday nights with some friendly folks. If you have your own physical deck and an overhead camera, you can try online with spelltable.

Due to his Planeswalker side being both black and white, you can have Sorin as an orzhov commander

@@talieson69 except for reminder text which would be enclosed in parentheses. The mana symbol used for Extort is reminder text, thus doesn't count towards rules text. It's this exact reason why something like Crypt Ghast that also has Extort is fine in monoblack edh decks but not in any WBx decks. But with Sorin's flip walker side being both black and white, that counts towards color identity.

Maybe it’s just me, but the constant flow of “if you do a thing, do it twice instead” trend of late is getting old real quick; yes, Ulalek is now probably the best eldrazi commander out there, but they’re so fkn boring 🙄

I would say no. The main problem is the cast trigger. You're honestly better using Yarok with a flicker/blink strategy with creatures that generate eldrazi tokens when they enter or leave the battlefield. You''re better off using Azlask along with a few sacrifice outlets to intentionally kill your tokens using the flicker/blink strategy to quickly build up experience counters, then activate the +x/+x ability and swing in for the kill.
