YESS, you are so right because winter time is the FANTASY season. I'm literally devouring so many fantasy books this past couple of weeks. I need to read A Dowry of Blood because like you said, it's intriguing! I've only heard great reviews for it! Can't wait to see what you think about the book because.... I don't know if I can actually get around to reading it from my long list of TBR LOL. But I'm here to SCREAM that you need to read The Poppy War. It was SO freaking good. I finished reading the first book, and second book. Currently reading the 3rd book at 70% right now and I love it so much. I am so invested in all the characters. The FL feels so raw and real. A super solid list, and I can't wait to hear your wrap up! My current list for the winter is also fantasy driven with Onyx Storm, The Dragon's Republic, One For My Enemy!

Fantastic line-up. Looking forward to your thoughts on 'A Dowry Of Blood', and 'The Poppy War' especially. I've recently been reading the classic vampire stories and highly recommend 'Carmilla' by J. Sheridan Le Fanu. It's a short novella with female leads and queer undertones.❤

What a great list of books!! I really want to read so many of these at some point, especially Blood Over Bright Haven, The Poppy War, and An Ember In The Ashes. I don’t really know what I want to read this winter though, beyond my December TBR. We shall see! 😂 And Once Upon a Broken Heart was a fun one for sure, I read all of those books so quickly!
