I have a brown version of the 2004 forth bridge round pound coin, I know there's a gold and silver version so idk maybe I have a bronze one? I've found no info on it

I am a bit confused about the old round pound coins. I only got into collecting a year after these coins were officially demonitised. You mentioned the coat of arms and shield designs- are these definitives and are all the others commemoratives? There seemed to be so many designs easily accessible, I got given and found many round pound designs other than the shield and royal arms. So were all these other coins also definitives minted in high numbers??
