Finally, the last episode of my Pokémon GO Fundamentals series. In this video, I will be going over the Top Ten Fundamentals of Pokémon GO that pro players follow.
As someone who has been playing Pokémon GO consistently since the beginning, there are certain things about the game that I wish I knew when I first started. These are what I like to call Pokémon GO Fundamentals, and they are what separates veteran Pro players from beginners. If you are someone who started playing Pokémon GO recently, and you want to elevate your gameplay, then the ten fundamentals in this video will help you get there. This isn’t a Beginner’s Guide per se, but think of it as the next step once you get the hang of the game.

I couldn't agree more on the last point. I'm a super casual player, so for me the goal is just to get as many pokedex entries as I can. It's super fun as I don't feel the pressure to complete the pokedex or take part in every event and maximize the experience. If I get a shiny or hundo, I'm stoked, but if I don't then it doesn't really matter, cause I just enjoy playing the game.

In my opinion players should focus on using their coins more on upgrades (especially item bag upgrades) before spending all their coins on raid passes.

Great video! It’s interesting how different peoples’ goals are. My kids wanna evolve stuff immediately and I wait until the end of events to make sure I get the best IV’s that I can. My goal is either 96% or higher OR 0/15/15.

last advice is kinda what i tell kids, you can be happy for others or jealous/angry of what they caught 100%/shiny legendary, the outcome of them having it dont change, but how you feel about it does.

Yeah sure he must have no problem getting free poke balls but I don’t have a lot of poke stops around me and don’t have time to search for areas with a lot of stops so I have to poke balls and stop only give 3 balls

Excellent curveballs don't matter ar all, except for legendary pokemon. Yeah it helps a bit, but there's no point for xp beyond level 40 so xp by itself is useless

It matters when you're trying to go from Level 40 to level 50...you need millions of xp every little bit helps.

the xp from 40 to 50 is the equivalent of 1 to 40 again, and then a further 1 to 37, and they'll likey increase the cap as most players get there

@@CountJinsulaOfficial what i meant is that getting more xp or leveling beyond lvl 40 is not important - you can power up pokemon to level 50 while being lvl 40 player. Being level 42, 47 or 50 adds nothing to the gameplay. It's nice flex, nice goal/milestone to achieve but there's no rush like reaching level 31 where you start getting candy XL, o lr lvl 40 to start getting rare candy XL
