The Torp Bomber Build - Star Trek Online

First up guys slight misspeak for universal designs the texas console is what gives us the stacks we need to keep it up for long duration's since its the torpedo version of the phaser lance.
In this video i go the current torp ship that is favored by most the Terran Eagle pilot raider, this is becasue of the console from the ship. The Eagle is a c-store ship for those interested in it.

Thanks for doing this vid. At the moment I'm still quite a bit off from this build, so will have to start with a mid-tier build and relearn how to use a torp boat. We've been experiencing so many loadout issues on console that all the builds I created over the last 2 years are all borked. Just installed SETS to recreate all my builds. If I enjoy flying a torp boat (again), I'll certainly work towards this build. The machine gun part sounds fun AF.

Great build. I'm looking forward to getting the 13th when the next discount sale is on. This ship is one of the main reasons as I really want to do this type of torp build. @Nic_NB, could you do a build on the Styx in the future as that is going to become my first and main tank build when I get it, and would love to see your take on it As always, great video, with good explanations on the kit chosen. One question, apart from the exchange, how do you get the Borg DOFFs?

Can do, but it’s going to be very similar to the justiciar build for a first time tank, and borg doffs are from the same exchange or from the pack the dropped from either the borg lockbox or infinity lockbox

It's unfortunate that console is so much more difficult to do torp builds

I think a lot of people are burnt out on torpedo builds as the videos never do that well. Also I am at #9 with FAW lol

I does take alot of investment into a torpedo builds, lobi stuff and lockbox ships and really need alot of the pieces, some very expensive, to make it work properly. It the same with a science builds, you can make it work ok, but if you want it to work well, it very expensive, far more expensive than DEW build which most people are using. You can have a DEW build that performs well just with C-store ships, means that build can be replicated over multiple characters at no extra cost. Then with the yearly campaign you get get lockbox ships for your main that will take that DEW build to the next level.

Torp boats weren't even fun until this ship came out. Also the Eagle isn't fantastic looking.

I bet it would perform even better a year or two ago when they broke the code and ships were firing torpedoes rapidly, gatling gun style, with no cooldown.

Yeah the eagle console makes the ferro irrelevant
