another great video, cant believe how many hills i have yet to visit, the hill fort looked to have some good spots for the tent. going to try a different hill each week, hopefully through the winter.

Nice video thanks! I went to Hen Hole last week for the first time but I fancy a crack at your route next.
@blamhof6 жыл бұрын
Thanks John yes The Hen Hole is a fave of mine too. This is a great route but I Went up the steep fence line at the start which meant I had some backtracking to do from Hare Law but whichever way you do it I highly recommended either going up or coming down Easter Tor by that little valley, it's a grand spot. Thanks for watching. Mick.

Cracking video Mick, another walk I would like to do. There is so much I have to see in my home county, especially in the Cheviots. Cheers. Eddie.

Aye Mick I thought Spring had arrived last week as well, soon went mind lol. Funny, in that heat to still see patches of snow kicking about. Looked a great walk out, cheers Alan

Thank's Alan, yes didn't last long. I'm just back from a hike in The Cheviots and it was freezing with a brutal wind. Don't think I'll ever warm up again haha. Atb. Mick.

Hi Mick I never get tired of the Cheviots I think it’s in our blood the views up there are beautiful as you say tough walking it certainly builds up your stamina The cheviot wild goats seem to be growing in numbers now if you go back 10 years you’d be lucky to see them they are always great to see we have said this before I’d love to go up in a glider from Milfield and see that valley but I would insist on going over to Braydon Craig great to see you and little Rubes out in our beautiful Northumberland thanks for taking us along

Cheers John Yes what I class as my home hills and can be very tough terrain but ideal for building up hill fitness. This was by far the most I have ever seen there was 2 big herds and were spread all over the hillside. Thanks for watching bud and it was good to meet your Debbie the other day. Enjoy Scotland. Mick.

They hills look beautiful Mick, So much like The Cairngorms. Brave man going up the steep way in that heat, Would have been murder for me i think lol! Is there many summits there you havent been yet? Take care Mick, peter.
@blamhof6 жыл бұрын
Thank's Peter yeah The Cheviot has it's own plateau like a mini Moine Mhor, though still a challenge to cross and not to be taken lightly. Of all the main summits and tops I think The Schil is the only one left but will hopefully get up in the next few weeks. Heading North soon staying at Lochcarron and hoping to tackle some of The Coulin Forest Munro's, so looking forward to that. Take care. Mick.
