Dear Rosalie I have story to tell you. In January I weighed a staggering 168 pounds. I’m five feet tall. That’s a lot of weight to carry around. I was tired and just sick. Diabetes was doing terrible things to me. The medicine and the insulin just made me feel horrible. I looked at myself and said you need to do something or you’re not gonna live long. I got a call from a friend who asked if I’d like to buy her total gym because she said she didn’t use it. So I went and looked at it and my husband said let get it. So on February 1 I set up the total gym Apex G3 in our sunroom here in Florida. I started using it on the lowest setting. Boy was I sore for a few days but it didn’t give up. I also started walking in our housing division. 1 block per day and then added a second block and then a third each week. I also got rid of all the junk foods in my house. I know longer eat empty carbs, only complex good for you carbs and foods that are good for my body. As of today April 11, 2022 I am 31 lbs down. I’m walking 5 miles per day and I’ve lost 31 pounds. Oh and that insulin I’ve mentioned?? It’s gone!! No longer need it. I feel energetic. I’m sleeping so well at night and I’m healthier now than I’ve been in a long time. When people ask me what have you done. I say I got a total gym! I’m seriously looking into getting a better unit that will do more and have more accessories. I just love your videos. I look for them all the time on KZbin. They’re so motivating.

Just got my Total Gym today and ran across you by accident. What a great find! I just subscribed - it’s like having a personal trainer at home. Thank you so much for taking the time to share getting fit at home. During the Covid lockdown I gained 20 lbs and it almost did me in health wise from being so confined and now I need to get my health and strength back. Hello Rosalie. I just got my Total Gym XLS and I am on day 4 of the challenge. I am 58 yrs old and your workout kicks my butt and I am completely sweaty after 45 min. You make the workout seem so easy! Lol. I have only lost 1 pound so far, but am anxious to see how I do when the 18 days is finished. I hope I am able to lose more than a few pounds. 🤞

I did the challenge once and made it through. It took time to work up to getting all the way through it, so don't feel bad if you can't the first few times. I have the 1400 series, I just don't have the pressing bars. But for the life of me, I don't see how she's able to talk through the entire video! That's a goal to aspire to!

Tried this and boy did it kick my ass. I only lasted 2 days then my body was too sore. Took your advice and modified the time,reps and height of my board for my arms and legs. Goal is to do it every other day and work my way to the full time of the challenge.

Nice. Very helpful. Is the demonstrated jog in place on a Total Gym low impact enough for knee replacement patients? They are counseled not to run or jog in the normal way. “Jogging” while at a 45 degree +/- incline on a padded surface seems like it must be less jarring.

Rosalie, I am a getting my total gym next week and am excited to start. I already walk three to five miles a day and do yoga daily. Do you recommend that I do this program from the start? Also, you say three week program, is that this video everyday for three week or is this one in a series? You look amazing and real and remind me so much of my favorite personal trainer I had years ago. :)

That was a great workout, only I have the 1000 model, regardless, that was the most use I got out of my total gym in a while. (running in place was easy)

I got the TG with and the TG Step. How do I determine what level the TG should be on? I have zero cardio endurance.

Jackknife or sit ups is a very bad exercise. Even in a British army is it forbidden. According to Harvard Health Publications, sit-ups can be very hard on the spine and potentially damaging. If you have ever felt lower back pain and strain during a sit-up, you know this already. A sit-up pushes the curved spine against the floor, and as mentioned earlier, employs the hip flexor muscles.

There’s No hard floor on total gym to push your back into… modify any exercise that does not feel good on your body.
