I lived in Singapore for two years, I was surprised by how many cyclists there were in Singapore. Everyday, people are riding around the island and everyone has a nice looking road bike. You gatta pronounce the coffee as "Koppi" in Singapore. Man I loved Singapore, so many nice people there, super friendly people.

There’s something called a PCN, a park connector network. Amazing routes separated from the traffic. Must try ! It’s loops around the city with almost 130 kms of continuous track. State of the art !

Great video! I find it so reassuring that you enjoy a glass of red wine. I only got into cycling reasonably seriously in my forties with a friend, and when we went on trips with other brits they were often teetotal whilst we shared a bottle of red. I got silver medal time in the etape du tour when I was in my fifties, and now I still cycle, aiming to do another etape soon (I've done seven already), and I play squash 4 or 5 times a week. I enjoy wine in moderation most days, but so many endurance athletes seem to abstain completely, but for me, sport is a crucial part of life, but one that needs to co-exist with other pleasures!

Genuinely impressed by this vlog and I didn't expect to be! Sure, I thought it would be interesting, but it far surpassed that! Perhaps idiotically, I assumed you would be whisked through airports at both ends on some uber-secretive VIP lane that ordinary people/business class people wouldn't get to see! You, heads of state, royalty, Holywood mega stars etc ... Very educational. Loved the on-board section, meeting people etc (and those scooters and sidecars were fantastic!)
