THE (TOURISTIC?) BREAKFAST OF CATANIA - WHAT WE EAT IN ORTIGIA (SYRACUSE)

This time we take you to the enchanting island of Ortigia, in Syracuse, where we had lunch at a restaurant with a curious name: Scuola Alimentare.
Everything was fish-based, of course!
We started with delicious stuffed sardines (in an XL version!) and continued with pasta alla siracusana, a true homage to Sicilian poor cuisine. To refresh ourselves from the heat, we couldn't miss an artisanal granita.
The next day, our gastronomic tour took us to Catania, where we stopped at one of the best pastry shops in the city.
We stopped for breakfast at the famous Quaranta pastry shop. Fruit granita with brioche for Edoardo, while I chose two symbols of Catanese breakfast: a fried iris with cream and a "cipollina" (small puff pastry with onion).
But now I have a question for you: is the Sicilian cannolo really touristic or not?
