Every time I see that final sequence when Frieza is pushing to eliminate Jiren and Goku is flying in, to me, the scene loses something when you don't have Goku flashing in and out of Super Saiyan. But I got those chills again nonetheless!

Although Goku going down after beating Jiren was kinda plot-devicey, the animation for it was actually really sick!!! It reminded me of One Piece when Zoro took Luffy's pain and damage from Kuma in Thriller Bark. The fading colors in and out going, inverting colors and crazy body animations like they were actually fighting demons. Love scenes like that

Playing as androids make you use more combo strings and melee attacks. You can string every combo in one long string once you don’t continue after the heavy attack. While the enemy is stunned, you can continue to pummel them until you’re ready to do a finisher

One thing I find interesting is jiren always felt like he was a ripoff of the base characteristics of Vergil. Overly strong, cool, collected, traumatized. But they failed in my opinion because what makes characters like Vergil so amazing was how much depth they added. And because it’s dragon ball they didn’t get it. Vergil is cool because we know why he became so cold and reliant on his own power. Jiren we barely do and that makes such a massive difference
