I have enjoyed watching your cruise. When I was younger I boated from Olympia Washington to the Canadian Giulf Islands where you were practicing. Now I am retired in Mexico and it is inspiring to see your cruise the Pacific Coast and Sea of Cortez Mexico. It reminds me of the novel by John Steinbeck, the Log of The Sea of Cortez, you might enjoy the book, if you are not familiar with it.

During winter months there is an abundance of whales in Banderas Bay, they are all having their babies and waiting to head north again in the spring. Sometimes they pop up RIGHT next to our boat no matter how careful we are. Definitely need to move around the bay with caution this time of year.
