Steven, I recently won a public trading competition during my senior year in high school for a thousand bucks unknowingly using gap up shorts as my main method. However, I i was doing this based solely on an observation basis and had no idea that someone else had a name for it or was doing what I was doing, till I came to your channel. I’m so happy to have come across your channel because I was really just shorting whatever looked overreacted to instead of having quantifiable data to back it up. Now I know about resistance volume, multi day breakouts to avoid in shorting, float rotation, etc. You seriously have the best trading content on KZbin. Thanks for making it free and being genuine

@@quixfilmz3409 A gap up is when a stock opens at a higher price than the previous day's close. And when you short a gap up, that's called a gap up short. Meaning you are hoping the stock will go down in price after the opening gap in order to make profits.
