This is a very biaised video against Eng. Yes, there was an umpiring error, but it is possible that it even hindered England - who knows what would happen in the scenario where Rashid is on strike with 4 to win 3 to tie off 2, with Stokes potentially facing the last ball - you say rashid would've had 2 balls - how do you know he doesn't get a single? The game we would have seen without the umpire error is now a different universe and different game. Rashid (think Ashwin but faster strike rate) has 6,800 first class runs for Yorkshire, and averages 18 in ODI cricket, with an ODI 50, and strikes at 100. He scored a combined 41 off 32 in his previous two World cup innings vs NZ and Aus. The need to score 3 off 2 to tie or 4 to win increases the risk taken and Eng may even have won with the greater need to go for it - even edges are possible. Crucially, the last ball Stokes faced was a full toss but he only tapped the ball to the onside for a potential 2 but an easy single to tie. Do you really think if 3 was needed off the last ball, he plays the same shot? CSK won the IPL-23 with Jadeja scoring 10 off last 2 balls - why? Because he had to. The chasing side's approach changes with each ball. Sure, NZ could've won, but so could Eng if they went for it - inc the more than useful Rashid. They could still have tied by getting 3, but these 3 would've come from another type of 3 runs. Wides are possible if the bowler wants to keep the ball away from the batter but gets it wrong. As for boundary count, well, how do you know England would not have won with another super over? And Boundary count was also available in the previous two world cups - and it was in play in the IPL since 2009 - where were people's complaints then? In fact, Rajasthan beat KKR in 2014 IPL on boundary count - and every super over had boundary count available, but just wasn't required - ICC and BCCI used Boundary count - replacing bowl out. I'm pretty sure this video wouldn't exist if India won the world cup in these circumstances! We'll never know what would've happened in an alternative universe - but it is absolutely possible that Eng could still have won.

The problem is not with rule, the whole point of rant is the extra 6 run given to stokes on accidental boundary, it was blunder committed and also admitted later on by them, it was completely umpire's fault fkin kumar dharamsena, worst umpire ever

@@rakeshpriyanka154 ok umpire admitted , fine but that decision gave us the super over , sometimes lifes a bitch and unlucky things like this can happen so if the same thing happened and a mistake was admitted later whats the point it is in the past and game is over it is in history crying 5 years later has no value , that decision gave us a super over in the final. In a super over 6 balls to each team and even eng bowled wides and still NZ chocked no point of crying Indians , I see more Indians moaning about this than NZ ppl , like chill you guys didn’t even make the final.
