Shias do not believe that Imam Hussain revolted against Yazid for one type of people. Imam Hussain is for everybody and his message is a universal one. However, Shia Muslims take great importance in commemorating the martyrdom anniversaries of the prophet (P.) and Ahlulbayt and celebrating their birth anniversaries. Sunnis are more than welcome to join us to commemorate these important events together. These events revive the message of the holy prophet (P.) and his Ahlulbayt (A.S.)
