Lover, You Should Have Come Over is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. The world was truly robbed of his talent and all the songs he would've gone on to write.

One of my favourite songs by him is the unreleased “all flowers in time bend towards the sun” with Elizabeth Fraser, he died before it was finished and Elizabeth didn’t want it released as she didn’t think it was complete but it’s absolute incredible

He's my favourite musician of all time. His live performances are mesmerising and once you get lost in them you can't get enough. He reached pure transcendence when he was on stage. Once in a lifetime kind of artist. No doubt he would have gone on to be absolutely huge. Very underrated guitarist and brilliant song writer on top of that voice.

I live in Memphis TN, I know all about the Wolf River and Mississippi River and where they meet. The Wolf River runs through Memphis. The river is very toxic and the currents are horrible. Certain parts, people do get in but not there. I've crossed over or drove by that river millions of times. Wow. I didn't know this about his. Wolf River here in Memphis. Damn.

Still so sad to lose one of the greatest artists that never got to become what they deserved. Perhaps meant to be…live fast die young and leave a good looking corpse (something, or similar to what Jimmy Dean quoted). His stuff haunts, yet captivates me.

I'm in Memphis. Always have been. The Wolf River is highly toxic with oil and a bunch of mess. Also the currents will drag you under. Pure filth, dark brown, snakes and everything. And the tides are insane. Mississippi too. There are one or two parts of the Wolf River a few people go to canoe. Other than that , most know not to get it either of them. It's a given. But his story is different, so sad. Yes it was just as bad back then , just now as much oil. But even then, it was a big NO. Sad to hear that's how he passed and that he passed

@@neoAREAXIS That’s not true. Jeff and his friend didn’t even intend to go down to the river. Originally, they were trying to find the studio that Jeff and his band - who were flying into Memphis, that evening - were going to be convening at, the next day, to resume work on their sophomore album. Jeff and his friend got lost on the way to said studio and spontaneously decided to go to the river, where Jeff took his fateful swim. Jeff was sober when he drowned, according to his autopsy report.
