Let's be honest. Not judging them or anything but let's call it as what it is. They let The Giver feed them with rumors and they never bothered to get some confirmation, at least. I said this on another post but I'll write it here too: I think what makes it worse in some eyes (from what I've seen online) is that they took something as serious as mistreatment to do this. Many idols are actually being abused and mistreated. It takes a lot of courage to find the strength to come forward, but this sets them back MASSIVELY. Legally and in the eyes of the public, by them doing this, there will be a new precedent and make this a lot harder for them. "Pulling a FiftyFifty" will put any group in jeopardy because now that those girls lied (manipulated or not) and said they were mistreated to make themselves look like they were wronged when in reality it was to garner sympathy for them pulling what they pulled, companies actually doing harm can say well the idols they're hurting are just doing what 50/50 did, and it'll be harder for idols to be believed when they come foreword.
@muffins1653 Жыл бұрын
I agree with you. Not saying mistreatment should be normalized but there was no definite evidence of mistreatment with 50/50 (or maybe I missed that part, please do correct me if I'm wrong). It was he says, she says kind. Being called to the office for a meeting a week prior to a vacation is no maltreatment at all, nor taking back the sweets you hid and throwing it. Goodness, they are to be on strict diet as idols need to conform to a body type, unfortunately. I think this is also part of their contract. What people dont realize is, choosing to be an idol means choosing to lose your liberty in an extreme sense in exchange for fame, money, and prestige. The KPOP community is a very strict community mostly and holds a high standard for their idols to a fault. Wanting to be an idol is letting yourself get cooked in high flame oil with your own two feet.

Because of The Givers and the girls' betrayal, the ATTRAKT CEO tried to commit suicide on a bridge. He is said to have turned his mind to thoughts of his old mother in his last moments. ATTRAKT CEO is not an incompetent, corrupt, and unscrupulous person like The Givers and the girls claim. It’s honestly so sad what will happen to the 3 girls in the future, but they chose this for themselves. They’re no victims and anyone who thinks so is just as naive as them. @ChrisHillOlympicRecurveArchery7 ай бұрын
Cupid is an attrakt song. The givers were hired by Attrakt to manage the girls day to day. Ahn songil was the record producer for the songs and he is also connected to the givers. He tried to steal the girls and have the givers run them with Warner giving alot of money for all the international market. He also tried to steal all the royalty rights to the cupid aong by forging everyone’s signature. He is a major lowlife crook and ruined the careers of the three girls. They will be blacklisted by the Korean music industry, and the international market wont be interested in the three girls. They are a limited one hit wonder with too much legal baggage. Too many new young talent appears every year for them to have a second chance. Going back to Attrakt was their second chance. They decided their greed was more important than saving their careers. Keena and Fifty Fifty will regroup and move on. Then may not have the same success, but Attrakt will have more future groups to try for success. The three girls would be best to go and study abroad and go to college.

I feel like the girls were overwhelmed by the success of their song and thought they became a star and deserved better than what attrakt was offering them.. so to breach the contract they made this claim. While all idols go through this in there debut which era.. the treatment gets better when you become more experienced from a rookie..yuju wasnt even told her song spring is gone by chance became such a big hit and with me gustas tu's popularity and the general public being on their side gfriend couldve easily gone the way fifty fifty did(i.e became greedy).
