Chuck hurt everyone around him, refused to get professional help for his mental illness, and Jimmy's words that he would die alone became true.

Jimmy hurt everyone around him. Chuck was just the excuse and the one weak enough to die like this. Chuck got his brother out of jail, vouched for him when Jimmy got his license to practice law, offered to help with his public defense work. Chuck had a whole office of people he thought of by not hiring his brother. Jimmy would have made their jobs more difficult(see Cliff and Erin at Davis & Maine). Other than that everyone was fine until Jimmy switched the Mesa Verda address. For no ethically good reason

Chuck only vouched and got Jimmy out of jail because their mother asked him to. Chuck was jealous that Jimmy got his law license which is why he lied and kept Jimmy out of HHM until Jimmy found out the truth almost ten years later lol Chuck only cared about himself especially that he was willing to destroy his own firm when the insurance situation happened. And helping him as a lawyer was for his own benefit especially with the sandpiper case. Jimmy would've made more things difficult in HHM like he did in Davis & Main? Ya that's right after he found out the truth that his own brother backstabbed and lied to him for almost ten years plus he didn't want to work for them until Kim pushed him to. Not to mention they were punishing her for his fallout with Davis & Main which he clearly told Chuck face to face to stop and was willing to stop being a lawyer altogether. Jimmy already had a great support system from Kim, Howard and Chuck at HHM where he could've been guided to become a decent lawyer but Chuck lied and did not give him a second chance to prove himself. If he truly believed in the law then he should've believed in rehabilitation but jealousy and resentment affected him especially that he saw everyone around him below. Chuck was a big contributer on Jimmy making his own choices that led to who he was in BB. Both brothers hurt everyone around them.

Of course Jimmy made his own chocies that led to Saul Goodman just like Chuck that led to the paths they took. Chuck was jealous of Jimmy getting his law license and he was a narcissist willing to destroy his own firm for his own benefit. Jimmy didn't even want to work in Davis & Main but Kim pushed him to and this was after he found out the truth about Chuck lying and not hiring him which affected him especially finding out almost ten years later. Chuck only vouched for him because their mother told him to. He didn't hire Jimmy because he was jealous of him becoming a better lawyer than himself and was a coward on not telling him face to face instead he let and used Howard to be Jimmy's enemy. Both brothers hurt everyone around them.

@ Only reason the insurance thing happened, because Jimmy told the insurance company about his brother’s mental illness but the insurance people would’ve found out about Chuck’s illness with or without Jimmy telling them. It was inevitable.

The narcissist refused professional help, destroyed his marriage with Rebecca by not being honest with her, and he didn't follow the advice from the Doctor who cared for him at the hospital that he needed to take things slow. And the insurance was going to happen thanks to him and HHM concealing his mental illness especially coming back to work which put the whole firm at risk on facing liability lawsuits.

​@@DaScorpionStingi think the whole insurance thing is inevitable with or without Jimmy telling them, think about this, even somehow Chuck seek Professional help, Chuck would still used the insurance money to pay those bills and once those company find out about Chuck's illness was fake, those insurance company will increase it's premium and they will be no longer cover Chuck since his mental illness was not on the companies description, and Howard would still unceremoniously fired Chuck and his suicide would've been impossible to avoid.

Their relationship somehow reminds me of Walt and Jesse, one minute we saw them doing a wholesome and geninue moments and the next minute we saw them fighting against each other. People can hate Chuck or Jimmy all they wanted but after all of that, and despite all of that, there is a small part of us wish that they were reunited and reconcile in the end.
