I was already struggling with being a Catholic but, when my brother Gilbert died, I screamed at God and told him, we were done. Then by accident, I met a young Catholic Priest, who listened to my crazy rant. He treated me with nothing but, kindness and understanding. After listening to his comforting words, I went home and listened to what he asked of me. I re read Footprints In The Sand. For a split second there I was comforted.
