How Diana was used, abused, shunned and forgotten by the royal family whilst also being unceremoniously pushed away, is something that the majority of us will never forget or forgive. As a shy person myself, seeing her find strength in herself and finding a way to strike out into the world despite all her worries is incredibly brave and moving. I don’t wish Diana was in Camilla’s place at the coronation, I truly think she would have declined to be Queen consort. The further she was pushed away from the royal family, the more she began to find herself and not care for the consequences of not fulfilling some of these silly royal pageantry rules and regulations. And yes, Charles did show grief as he went to collect Diana’s body from France after she died. He didn’t have to go to France, he wanted to. In addition, he insisted that she have a royal ceremonial funeral. She was no longer a member of the Royal family and should’ve had a funeral done by her own family, but he wanted to do it for his boys.

If this story is part of history tell the truth. Diana a teenager at age 19 was besotted to Charles age 33.They were married in 1981 Diana age 20 and Charles age 33. Meeting him at 16 when dating her older sister was not in a romantic sense. If he was in love with another man's wife Camilla, he should not have married Diana and used her and smeared her innocence. I'm sick of these ppl changing the narrative to paint the RF as anything but cruel.

Dana Shekkle I would not date or marry anyone my sister had dated and neither would she. That Diana would even consider such a thing shows her true character. She knew about Camilla and she still walked down the aisle. I would have left him at the altar and gone to Althorp or abroad until the dust settled. She was young and would have found someone else. She married the title, not the man.

I think he just made that up. He was attracted to older women. Diana’s sister looks a little like Camilla. Not quite pretty. Grandma looks and vibes. If it is true, charles spent a lot of time with his grandmother as a kid. I doubt, I think at his early tender age he was at the hands of nannies. Then maybe he developed a little close relationship with the Queen mother. But never with his mother, probably no one hugged him as a kid. How sad is this? He wanted a mother and Diana wanted a husband, to cherish and love her.
