Hi Eleanor! 🥺💕 I have commented this on your last video as well but I don't know if you've seen it so here I am once again! I was wondering if you will ever be covering the "Zodiac Killer case" apparently the identity of the killer has been released to the public and he has been caught. I really do not want to look into it myself because I don't want any spoilers 🥺 Plus your videos are stunning and amazing and always full of details! If you could please take a look at the case please do! I really love your videos and work💕💞 Thank you very much if you're reading this and if you'll be taking a look at the case! I love you :3 💞💕 Stay safe and take care of yourself! Bye bye! 🥺💞💞💞💞💞

I will never forget what Matthew's father said to his killers at the sentencing: "may you live a long life, and thank Matthew every day for it". Matthew had been against the death penalty, and his father wanted to recommend the death penalty for his son's murderers, but instead recommend consecutive life sentences, to respect Matthew.

Watch the documentary on the Bondi Beach gay murders in Sydney, Australia in the '80s. There were something like 80 murders over a 10-15 years, mainly during the AIDS epidemic and killing gays was then a 'blood-sport' for some and quietly tolerated by many. The police were many years later condemned for their passive complicity. I grew up with that in the background. I remember colleagues at work at the time saying, 'They brought it on themselves.'

Why do these evil people always end up finding the most amazing, caring, empathetic of people to steal from the world? Either through murder or destroying them through the trauma, pain and be depression of the horrible things they inflict on them? ]: I love learning about true crime cases, but especially when the victims are such amazing people, it just fucking hurts to hear everything they had to go through. Am watching this with my youngest LGBTQ+ teen & she begged me to give a tip that could save someone else. I've been a nurse for 30 years. If you ever encounter someone whose jaw is clenched shut this severely & you HAVE to attempt opening it for CPR place 2 fingers where their earlobes attach at the jaw & press. You can make firm circular motions to massage this area & just below the temples. This usually loosens the temporomandibular joint allowing you to open their jaw & perform CPR.

It just goes to show how cases involving minoritys are often sidelined. With your level of detail and compassion for Matthew it really gives a true idea of exactly who he was, and how impactful his murder was in action against Homophobia. Matthews death is just as important now as it was twenty years ago, and to see it discussed with this level of sincerity, and also raising awareness of LGBT people and important issues is just amazing.

God he was so beautiful it's a shame. I mean it. He looked like an angel. I remember watching the lifetime biopic about him and being sad over the way he suffered. I'm willing to bet those men who killed him weren't only prejudiced of him being gay, but jealous of how handsome he was. He really didn't deserve to go out like that.

Ive had a similar gang assault and never received justice. Idk if I ever found closure nor what that looks like for the situation.Looking back at my teenage self, I locked the memory away but my body still reacted to the trauma. I was peeing the bed, I was overdosing on Adderall which led to lack of sleep and psychosis. My mom victim blamed me and family never confronted me about it. Im so happy that Matthew found a support system instead of a downward spiral many stay stagnant in

My high school did a day of the dead celebration every year, and all the clubs would each make a decorated alter for someone who had something to do with the topic of the club. Anyway, I was VP of the Gender Sexuality Alliance and we made an alter for Matthew Shepard my junior year and it was really important to me not only as young queer person but this case took place like an hour away from where i grew up, and Matthew died in the same hospital i was born in 😥💕

I'm an Asexual Ally, and I headed my High Schools "Gay-Straight Alliance Club", its what we had back then...and at one point being on the club for so long I did a study on Mathew and...what's it called...damn I'm old now...I did a speech on him for a school topic. Anyways, I think I kind of relate to you a little bit with this so I wanted to share.

such a touching story this time. I'm bi and was openly bi in highschool and lived in a super conservative area of mississippi... needless to say, it is still a horrible place to live even if you are straight. very racist, homophobia, and radically religious energy in the entire state. Nobody I know that grew up there has stayed unless they just had not way out. This boy and his story truly shook my spirit and I hope to whatever is out there that he may now rest in peace.

I’ve never understood the hate for bisexual people or gays or trans etc, they’re just people. Cut a bi person open and they bleed the same as a straight person would. It’s a shame tbh, wish you the best of luck 🖤

Black trans person here from Tupelo Mississippi. I am so glad that I am on my way out of this hell hole. My grandmother and my father keep coercing me to stay here with the rest of my family but Mississippi is just one of the most toxic places to live. If you aren’t straight white and conservative, then your pretty much fucked. Fortunately for me, I sorta broke the mold at the Highschool I attended and started a lgbt alliance group.
