WOWZA this video took longer than I expected it too! Now it's the longest video on my channel, for a short period of time at least, haha. Seriously, though, I'm very proud of how this video turned out! It might be my favorite on the channel, now. Again, VERY HUGE thanks to Leilani Wilson and Rawronoa_zOwO for their help in making this video a thing, both directly and indirectly. And DEFINITELY count on seeing some more Elancia videos in the future.

Thank you for the kind words about the art! It was the first time I'd ever really drawn anything furry OR for a project so it was a little wonky sometimes. The scratchier images and the constant size changes for the image are because I didn't really know what I was doing at the time and I didn't really develop a cleaner style til later in the project. I went back and tried to redraw as much as I could but we ran out of time before the deadline. After that, I really tried to focus on consistency for the other books. I hope you enjoy the art in the rest of the series, especially Book 2! I nearly destroyed myself going as hard as my poor amateur butt could handle for those illustrations (although I think they didnt turn out as well in print sadly). If you end up needing more scribbles and concept stuff for the other books, Leila can point you at me too!

Oh boy, I've been anticipating this video more than any feature-length movies! Yep, RAWRonoa_zOWO IS a OP reference. It's a pun on a character named Roronoa Zoro (the green haired guy who uses 3 swords.) Got the idea for it when I was watching a clip from the 4Kids dub, where they pronounce it like "Roar-onoa". So Roaronoa --> RAWRonoa & Zoro --> zOWO. Also, OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE SHOUT-OUT!! X333 I'm legit super proud that my Steam guide actually made someone read these books & that more people are talking about it!!! The video was hecking amazing, btw. There were some things even I didn't know XD I am SO looking forward to the Hunted Truths video!!

Leilani sent me this video! I watched it with my partner up until the spoilers because now my partner's interested in reading the books, (I watched the rest on my own). I've been slowly reading these over the past couple of years and you really capture the excitement I have for these books! I have a lot of feelings when it comes to these books. With some of the struggles the characters face trying to just be themselves, I swear they were written specifically for me at times. I can't count the amount of times I've gone to Leilani with a snippet from one of the books and just said "Mood." Thank you for making this video! I'm eager to see what you have to say about the next couple of books. I'm 10 chapters into the 3rd one, so now i'll have to finish that up before you make a video about that one!

Amazing video! Love this series so much, and I'm glad to see more folks talking about it. I agree that it's important to try and document what you can as when Goal Publications shuttered I was worried people wouldn't be able to access the books. Will definitely be pointing other people to this video to help them get a handle on the series.

Over a month later & I still find myself returning to this video frequently! I'm really proud of the little community we've built in tribute of these novels! (Can't believe it's only been a bit over a month...) And I hope it continues to grow so more people can experience this incredible series. Fuck meeeee, a good trans discovery story that's furry AND a novel series AND fantasy AND has an OST?? God I wish I had more than an ounce of free time and greater capacity to engage with things that don't engage back. I've always adored trans characters when they're explored genuinely, especially when trans people help portray them, and especially transfem ones. And this feeling has only gotten stronger since realizing only a short four months ago it was because I am one.

The albums actually aren't for sale anymore (to my knowledge). They went down with Goal Publications from what I understand. But all of the music is on the Soundcloud playlists Leilani made, which I linked in the description.
