I'd defo wipe that tacky layer of Fay because watching back my application of that 1st swatch I don't feel like I did put it on too thick so I'm thinking the tacky layer made it do that? Tacky layers wrecked my last foil glue so I've wiped them off ever since. But this is definitely the best transfer I've ever got with a foil glue x

I just went on their site and bought this because of you :) Thanks for the discount code. I like the Makarrt glue but get inconsistent results so crossing fingers this does it! I do the same BTW, wipe of the tacky layer from the gel and then do a coat of gel glue. Again, it works 80% of the time but not always- frustrating when on a client! "Guess I'll cover that hole up with some gems..." 😂

I have Makart's foil glue and can never get it to work. SO frustrating! Maybe I'll try along with a base coat. I hate to have to buy more but I'm v tempted! 🤩🙂

Ahhh i didnt realize that the tacky layer can ruin ur foil gel. Guess thats what happened to this one brand LGN or something like that. It was super good gel n always got a good transfer but now days not so good. Ill have to remember to always wipe off my tacky layer from now on! ❤❤ beautiful goodies Aggie! Huggies ❤

I would love to see you test this foil gel with other foils. Sometimes the foil itself can be crap causing any foil gel to not work as great.

I liked the 2 shimmer gels. I thought I was a weirdo for always cleansing the tacky layer ( especially if I am using a matte topcoat) That worked brilliantly. I got the makarrt one because of all the hype and I can't get a clean transfer at all but no coins to buy this either lol Thanks for sharing Aggie

I'd to go on amazon to grab the foil glue set , I wanted the butterfly foil set but was out of stock so got the flowery one as I have the animal print foils already so I'm really excited to get them because I was gobsmacked to see how flawless the worked for you, and wouldn't mind I'd only ordered the makartt one two days ago 😆😆😆😆 ah well from what iv seen its stil a great one to have. But I'm more excited to try the tobeglam one,and you get the two bottles nice big 15ml ones to with some foil

I always thought that I struggled with the foils, not the foil gel, but now I'm starting to wonder. I have the Makartt foil gel, and I can't get a clean transfer to save my life. It doesn't matter what foil I'm using. I actually recently emailed with ToBe Glam about becoming an ambassador and I was told to follow an ambassador ig and they'd contact me there next. 🤷‍♀️ I hope they do because I really want to try this foil gel now. I have never seen a transfer THAT clean, ever!!!! I'm intrigued. I have to try it. Lol.

When you say you wiped the tacky layer off....do you mean you put a base layer then wipe or just a wipe with no base layer?

Why first a color on the nail ? The foil covers the whole nail.
