I'm actually a real-life student pilot with just over 60 hours in a Cessna 172N. I enjoy sharing what I learn as I go in my training process but some day maybe I will be able to say I'm a real pilot. Happy flying :-) Blessings, skip

Thanks for all your videos, I wish there was a 737 guide as clear as yours for the beginners 172. I want to fly the 737 but I haven't been able to find a complete video tutorial on all the basics of it
@WEHVideos6 жыл бұрын
Hi Marty, Thanks! I understand your frustration.I purchased the Boeing 777 ($60) only to realize I couldn't fly it and there really wasn't a lot of help for the beginner so I gave up went back to what I know the 172. If you don't mind me says, if you are new to flying master the Cessna 172 first then move up. One thing I like about the Cessna 172 is I can fly it manually. I find that a lot more fun than just taking off and turning on the Autopilot, that got boring pretty fast, Happy Flying. Blessings, skip

Watching cockpit videos I’ve noticed on some attitude indicators that the arrow at the top sometimes moves in the direction of a turn and on others in the opposite direction of a turn. Am I missing something here? Could you please explain?
@WEHVideos6 жыл бұрын
Hi Dan, the attitude indicator's moving part indicates the relationship of the wings of the airplane to the horizon. While there are different looks to the attitude indicator the work the same. On one there is a upside triangle at the top which indicates Zero degrees roll when the "triangle" pointing up is directly underneath it. When you make a left turn the lower "triangle" will appear to move to the left as the turn angle increases indicating the left turn angle but is doesn't, it's the artificial horizon portion of the attitude indicator that moves and in a left turn that "triangle" will move to the right and the opposite is true for a right turn. If you look straight ahead in a turn the horizon will appear to be at an angle and looking at the attitude indicator it will look the same, the artificial horizon matches what you see outside. It might be easier to visualize if there were only degrees of turn without an upside triangle indicating zero degrees of turn. Hope this answers your question if not please let me know which airplanes you are flying where they don't work the same. Blessings,skip
