I think hearing a Mom say „what do I need to know about how you‘re feeling right now“ and „i am sorry for what i did when you were little“ just healed my Nervessystem a bit more :) Thank you Selden for sharing and thank you Irene for you compassionate work! 💕

Amazing. I'm on day 9 of the 21 day tune. It's actually day 20 but I'm listening to my physiology at taking it slow. Joining SBSM in September, so excited. I am noticing changes in myself, I started in June watching Irene after trying ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING before. Love this work xxx

Had you tried other brain retraining programs like DNRS or Gupta?
@forwardmovingfliss84872 жыл бұрын
@@lindsayh1502 I've tried everything, not heard of Gupta though. And Irene's work is helping me already. Still only on day 11 I'm not rushing it. Joining SBSM soon so looking forward to it. Are you on any of the courses?xx

@@forwardmovingfliss8487 Thanks for your reply. I have been doing DNRS for about 15 months or so. I also try to incorporate Somatic work (with a practitioner and on my own) and some grounding techniques, yoga nidra, a bit of BodyTalk. I’m wondering if I need something a little deeper. I tried Primal Trust but it was too strong and caused an intense nervous system response I’m still recovering from 5 months later. Thank you for your input 💞

Honestly I can't recommend Irene's work enough. As I say I'm doing the 21 day tune up and only done 11 day's over last 3-4 weeks, but I started listening to everything she has on KZbin mid June. Already I feel stronger and I just know I can heal. I wish you the best💋❤

These videos are helpful and informative for all of the obvious reasons and we need to make this type of conversation more commonplace. One thing I find particularly helpful are the split screen moments, in this video. This shows the minimal encouragers and non-verbal feedback as another person is speaking. Demonstrating how to be supportive in communication is relevant to everyone.

Each time I watch a new video I'm reignited to get into this work and so have decided after looking in all the other shops for a new top, I'm now returning to the first top I saw!! Once my finances allow, hopefully in a month or two I'm going to do the 21day tune up and start there. I'm scared as I dont have support ie family or friends but all I know and feel is I cant continue on the path I'm on. My spidey senses are twitching 🙂

Crazykat Rockchick Hippie, Jen here from Team Lyon. Great to hear that Irene's work is resonating with you! Look forwarding to seeing you in the "Tune Up" when finances allow. I also wanted to make sure you're aware that Irene is giving an Essentials class this week. It might be a good interim measure as you're waiting to join the Tune Up. I'll also link to her KZbin playlist of neurosensory practices in case you want to explore those too. Really touched a ‘nerve’ excuse the pun! This is how I would love this to help me. Living with a family member who triggers me like nothing else but our living situation can’t change right now. This gives me hope that I can be less reactive, less argumentative and calm whilst still living with the trigger. Is this really possible?
@IreneLyon2 жыл бұрын
Hi Lalanelli, Seth here with Team Lyon. If you are living with someone who actively triggers you then it is a bit more difficult, but it is still possible to make progress. Have a read of this article of mine. It may not apply exactly to your situation, but it talks about things you can do if living in a stressful environment - sethlyon.com/sometimes-break-family/

Hi. I am an SBSM student and suddenly have this question come up for me. Does our chemistry change as we do nervous system work?
@IreneLyon2 жыл бұрын
Hi Sumbal. Seth here with Team Lyon. Yes, it very often does. This may be an overall decrease in cortisol and adrenaline and a reestablishment of the correct cortisol rhythm - though in some cases this mean an increase in these neurochemicals, if the adrenals have previously been totally exhausted. We also may experience an increase in feel 'good chemicals' like dopamine, serotonin, endorphins and oxytocin, as well as other hormonal changes.
@sumbaltasawwar2 жыл бұрын
@@IreneLyon Hi Seth. Thank you for your response, and the explanation. I actually meant chemistry in the sense of romantic partnership - I was wondering if with time of doing this work we actually change to whom we're attracted to.

I’m curious - did she completely heal her lupus? Like bloodwork shows it’s not in remission but gone from her body?
@seldenintegrativehealing77372 жыл бұрын
Hi Lindsey, I did have my blood work done a few months ago and my C3 and C4 were normal and there were 2 that took my ANA. One was still barely positive and the other was negative which was the first time I’ve ever had those negative on a test since I was diagnosed 5 years ago. But what is most important is not what the tests say but rather how i feel in my body and that is how I gauge what I need and how to care for myself. Tests can hold some value but the biggest thing for me is that symptoms I thought I would always have to “live with” just faded away.
