Roy had passed just before the band released the video with him singing...so as a tribute to him, they placed his guitar on a rocking chair, which was so cool.

'Live And Let Die' is the song title you were thinking of. A play on words as you say of ... 'live and let live'. The song was written as the title track for the James Bond movie of the same name .... Live And Let Die. Written by Paul McCartney and his then wife Linda and performed by his post Beatles band called Wings in 1973.

Thanks, Saeed.. such a great song.. the Wilbury's often "featured" different singers/composers.. for instance.. this one featured Tom Petty.. "Not alone" was all about Roy Orbison... etc... hope you listen & react to more... (p.s. see the rocking chair with the guitar... that was for Roy.. he didn't make it to the video...) Actually, only Bob Dylan and Jeff Lynne are still with us.. but Tom, Roy & George left us this great collection to remember ... Okay, and also - all credit to drummer Jim Keltner! As far as I know, he's still working.. and actually refused credit for this... he could have been a "Wilbury"...

Yes, their other work is worth considering and because George was in the Beatles and Paul and John had better known solo careers, George's solo work is underestimated. With Saeed's appreciation of meaningful lyrics, I think George's "Isn't It a Pity" would be a good starter.

A recommendation would be to examine the early pioneers of rock music like Roy Orbison and ELVIS. It's enlightening to see and hear how good these artists were right at the beginning of their careers. I have seen early black and white videos of Roy Orbison singing his hits like "Pretty Woman"; "Crying" and many more. ELVIS got his exposure on early black and white tv variety shows. The Ed Sullivan Show was where variety acts and musical talent wanted to be! That show ran for years including the earliest of the British invasion like The Beatles; The Animals; The Rolling Stones, and many others. One standout performance was when ELVIS was home from serving his Country and was invited to appear on The Frank Sinatra Show. A more subdued and refined ELVIS sang two songs along with a duet with Mr. Sinatra. It's an 8 or 9 minute b & w performance that is a favorite of fans like myself! Sorry for such a lengthy comment!!

@@SaeedReacts. I guess I'm working from the angle where I've seen reacters getting ready to watch this band for the first time and before they do, they pull up the wiki and start reading about the band. So before they see the video, they know who's in the band. Which takes away the fun for me. The best part is seeing if they recognize anybody. I'm also working from the angle that it's best to leave a comment than not. Helping with the matrix and all that. I like your reactions and don't mean to come off as negative.
