As soon as you spoke of Paster having a Son recently, I was reminded of the young family that left to start a Church in Colorado. Would love to see them on the podcast speaking on their journey of their church. Any testimonies of their journey would be so beautiful to hear

Pastor Ed and friends, I love your podcast! I thank God you all keep everything interesting and relevant to the times we're living in! Yet, you all don't compromise the Word of God but clarify it in context! I would love to see a weekly or biweekly podcast instead of just once a month! 🙌🙌🙌

Krampus showed up in movie staring the Rock! Called Red One! Had no idea but went with family to what I thought was another Christmas movie- but it was NOT. What caught my attention was that they made Krampus character look reasonable and as if he misses his brother- Santa. It was so soft no one else caught it but I did- ugh!

Great podcast and definitely love this crew. I gotta say while I don’t mind or judge tattoos for me the discussion got muddy when you say “this is for me” followed by you wear black to die to self. My question then is how do the two coexist when you realize your calling is not to self but to others and self has to die, yet we still insist on wanting to save some stuff for “self”? In the same breath you mention that you don’t want it to be distracting but then don’t you think that in itself will be distracting even though momentarily? Wish there could be some dialogue to expound on these issues beyond just a sermon or podcast. Also is there any scriptural backing to this receive, reject or redeem concept? I feel like it has the potential To be used as an excuse for whatever someone wants to do as acceptable In their eyes. Maybe we need a forum that would allow people to call In and ask questions to what is being said here Pastor Ed.

Yea absolutely. I feel it’s one of those things where dialogue will yield more than just a podcast like so many others that are out there. Coz anyone can say anything in their own podcast really. And it becomes a matter of one’s opinion. But for the benefit of the body of Christ I think dialogue and challenging one’s own perspective is needed. If I can find his email I’ll do that. Thank you!

Pastor Ed. You are amazing, but hopefully, you can help me by answering this question. The bible says our body is our temple, and we shouldn't harm our bodies. Leviticus 19:28, which says,"You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord." Thoughts? The part that I'm not understanding is that whether it's the Old Testament or the New Testament, regardless it was a message from God. So how is it okay to go against God's words because we're going based off what we think it should be? So how is it that the only way that tattoos are wrong, is if we go against what our parents tell us to not do it. But yet they are in perfect and human. But yet God is our Eternal Father and it's okay to go against what he says?

@@artgj7296 exactly, as good as a personality as pastor Ed has...it doesn't always mean he's right 100% of the time. We must pray for him because he is the one herding God's sheep, now imagine how many people he inspired to get tattooed, it's shameful. We must admonish and rebuke each other when necessary. We are all sinners.

Leviticus 19:28 in the Bible says, “You shall not make gashes in your flesh for the dead, or incise any marks on yourselves”. Scholars often interpret this verse as a warning against pagan mourning practices.

You also have to look at the verses before and after as he was explaining in the video. Because if that is the case, piercings, and shaving facial hair would also be a sin. I think the analogy of going against your parents wishes wasn’t the best, but should have been more geared to our reasoning of getting them(ego driven/pure). I stopped getting them 2 years ago as I felt the lord did not want me to have anymore but I also won’t condemn those that get them.

I had to listen to this! It is amazing. My relation with God has got stronger, but I’m not sure what to answer when I’m asked if God gave us free will, why give us the option to follow him or go to hell. If he is all knowing, why do we need to pray. I know my God at heart, but I’m not sure how to answer these questions and I am new to the real word (bible) 😢

This might be a dumb question but does the Ten Commandments become invalid if we are basing our beliefs on the words said in the New Testament?

I’m TOTALLY confused!! 😵💫 If what we do should always be to Honor God, how does getting a tattoo honoring HIM? It’s just a selfish self fulfilling desire to make one feel “good”. 😒 Ugh Pastor falling into this worldly “trend”. Plus honoring those passed, by getting a tattoo, is a pagan practice according to the Word, right?? TOTALLY CONFUSED! But I’ll NEVER get a tattoo, but that’s just me.

Had to rewatch a couple of times. As someone whos struggles with the Biblical principles, wordly desires, and my values/beliefs/ethics; It is paramount in my own walk with Jesus to steer away from sports, and events that are not used for glorifying God or helping people in struggle. I would like to hear our leaderships word from God and also a personal outlook on how much society and our congregation invests in our adoration of athletics over our adoration of the Trinity. Can we reference some material on what we are looking at for the election results? Material I'm seeing shows that democrat voters threw in the towel before early voting even finished. There were less votes this election overall than there were the previous election for both republican and democrat parties. In my heart I am still struggling with the things Trump did his first term, the things he is already do before this term starts, and all the fanatics on both sides of the table tearing the soul of the USA in pieces. Can you speak to the "book burnings" happening accross the country along with the states trying to enforce the commandments in the classroom? Thank you all for providing a dialogue outside of service to further learn about our faith and values as a community and individuals with Jesus.

What? As a pastor/christian .., isn’t God our Father? Shouldn’t we obey Him? Why are you making excuses for the reason of you getting tattoos? Doesn’t the Word of God say be careful of you leaders because you will be judge more harshly!? From what I am seeing., you are making excuses for your itchy ears want to hear. Pastor Ed ., pray about what you are doing and what you are teaching. ❤️🦋

I am a pastor of a Latino immigrant-based church, and our community is facing a growing sense of fear due to the increasing vilification of Latino immigrants. There are even rumors that immigration authorities may enter houses of worship to check people’s status. This has placed the Latino church in the U.S. at significant risk. Please keep us in your prayers during these challenging times.

Yes, a Christian with a biblical worldview can vote for anyone they want to. Who we vote for isn't what determines if we are Christian or not since we all have our reasons in our heart for why we voted for who we voted for.
