It is isn't it? What I like most of all, is that it's all about the watches. No plastic dinosaurs, slick intro's, catch phrases, reaction videos or any of that nonsense. Just a watch collector talking about the hobby we love.

The first time I saw Swatches was in the Dubai International Airport! I found the automatic metal ones pretty cool, as I had just gotten into watches and it was so cool to see a second hand glide by! I think Swatches are a trendy little fun casual thing but the Moonswatches disappoint. I’ve never had one but they look nifty but they’re crappy bs that would break apart quicker than a happy meal toy!

Haven't heard the "Swatch" name in decades. they were popular in the 80's....high school kids used to wear them, along with their penny loafers, Addidas all white Stan Smith tennis shoes...if you lived in an upscale area....was always thought of as a "toy watch"....never knew they partnered with Omega...

Regular cheap quartz watches definitely not an heirloom material because they are disposable but Seiko quartz in its peak quartz crisis were so high quality and had benefit of reliability and exclusivity, tool and jewelry at the same time. I recently purchased a vintage Seiko AGS, the former owner died recently. The wear and tear in the case indicate that he loved to wear this watch and even replaced the ancient KESU with modern lithium capacitor (the replacement date still written on the case back). This watch has proven itself to be an heirloom, and I hope I keep it until I change the next capacitor for the next generation.

I've just watched your Casio World Timer and this, and I've gotta say I LOVE your videos. Any chance you can check the Fossil Hybrid Smartwatches? (or any hybrid smartwatch that catches your eye). Given your disappointment with the Apple Watch I'd love to see your take on the hybrid type, specially the Neutra Gen 6 since I've seen that recommended a LOT as an alternative to samsung/fitbit/apple. Thx for the videos!

Ironically,Speedmaster Moonwatch with wich Omega likes to brag, advertise and produce to trillion of the same variation is just a big failure, beacuse while Moonwatch failed and broke down in a space freaking Bulova lunar pilot succeed and became a legendary watch.

seiko group is the biggest on the watch market world. also, citizen group has even swiss research centers of watchmaking, to work for them . swatch group really saved the industry for the swiss . other groups , like the luis vuitton , or the mont blanc bought other significant swiss watch brands
