Why get mad at someone not going about a bet like you want them to when they themselves haven't gone through with bets at all. If anything, even if he was found guilty, bringing this up could soften the blow. Bringing up past allegations may be uncalled for, but not pointless. Also granted that this is Easy Allies and not an actual court. ha. Besides, he did everything that was in the contract. He cleared up the thing about the twitter times. He streamed it. It was a new save slot regardless when it was made or streamed. It was from start to finish, credits don't matter when the actual game is done. Unless credits was mentioned in the contract...

Huber was playing to the gallery in his testimony and offered very little of substance, Blood at least offered one strong argument in that the reasonable interpretation of a contract can be legally binding even if the wording leaves room to maneuver, but his arguments fell apart under cross-examination. Obviously Kyle is a skeevy welcher, but no impartial observer would find him guilty on the basis of the arguments presented in that court/living room.

Gotta say, even though I was saddened to not see Bosman play through A Link to the Past. I have to say I was on the side Kyle beat the system & got away with it clean. But when Blood came to the bench (sofa) with the Covenant of Good Faith & Fair Dealing, I do believe that it put Kyle in breach of contract. A shame we won't get to see him play through it. I think Ben summed up my feelings exactly regarding this.

This was even better than I imagined. Fantastic show, everyone. I still think Jones made the best argument - the Allies are meant to be entertaining. Are you not entertained? Kyle purposely misinterpreted the contract, but he did it to make us laugh, to give us drama, to give us entertainment - not having to play a game he doesn't care for was just an extra bonus and not the main intent.

Almost 7 years later and no one has pointed out that this case should have been dismissed, declared a mistrial, or appealed. There were so many unethical and legal misconduct. Huber lying on the stand. Not finding an impartial jury. Huber consistent outburst while his best friend presided over the case. All of these things are unacceptable. Still, some of the best court room dramas on TV and movies have conduct that would not be allowed. This is now among them. Great watch.

I'm torn I want to like the video because it was hilarious and funnier that many comedy shows, but the fact Kyle was found guilty is a travesty. The troll is of such epic scale and within the confines of the contract the trail was void even then it was a damn near tied in the vote, have that clear conscious Kyle. There's a lot of technical arguments that can be made one way or the other, but I believe the thing that ultimately breaks Kyle's neck is Blood's first point, the covenant of good faith and fair dealing. The way it looks to me, this applies to "all contracts" as Bloodworth said which nullifies Kyle's point that there are different kinds of contracts or that no money was exchanged. And it's very clear that he was aware of Huber's interpretation and yet did not share his own. Therefore, as Blood said, the interpretation of the ignorant party should be enforced and Kyle violated that interpretation, thus he is indeed in breach of contract. That said, I'm sad Huber took it upon himself to play it instead, there's no punishment whatsoever now... But it was a very entertaining trial regardless of the outcome.

The problem with that interpretation is that there was no contract. In order for a contract to be valid, there has to be consideration for both parties. Contracts also can't exist for contingent events (in this case "if you lose a bet"). Because there was no consideration for Kyle, there was never a contract (void). All someone had to do was Google Void/Voidable Contract

This is actually incredible what Huber did. To take on debt of his opponent and carry the weight himself, it's a rare individual who can do that. Huber is incredibly strong and brave and I doubt any of the other allies have a big enough heart to display the legendary strength and selflessness of Michael P Huber. You are a man of honor, and a man among men. Kyle will learn in time that being a worm only lowers you into the dirt. Michael displayed Strength and Honor, while Kyle squirmed out of a debt beyond his capability to fulfill. Michael is a champion of the people, and Kyle, a lowly shadow slinking away and shirking all responsibility to his Allies, his fans, his Patrons, and his viewers. You will find, Gentlemen, that your reputation multiplies over time.
