I had a "Everyday Hero" theme and won with a farmer transmog against 5x very shiny stuff. People do actually vote themed transmogs first if you're doing a good job at it.

Tricks to remember: you can unequip gear, wear old weapons that you can transmog into other stuff and you can also wear things like cloth as a plate wearer. It's *much* easier to come up with a set for the theme when you don't need to worry about half of your visible slots. Also make sure you have a tabard in your bags. If the tabard one comes up, wear nothing but a tabard transmogged to your faction one and a simple belt and just /dance on the podium.

They should have made it so that you weren't able to vote on people you are competing against. For example have 2 groups of 5 enter the same room. Group A votes on group B and group B votes on group A, that way you would actually vote on the transmog you think is best rather than trying to maximize your chances..

This should have worked such that you qued up with 10 people and 5 of you voted on the other 5 and vice versa, then there were separate results for each group. That way you wouldn't be voting on your direct competition, downvoting the best just to drag them down so you can win.

I really liked the event cause i like to transmog all my characters, but i think the rewards other than the shirt were lackluster. I'd much more prefer a brand new not too flashy set that costs way more than 60 tokens. also the themes could be better. half the time it was freestyle or epic purple in which some idiot with a full 10 man ulduar rogue set would win.

Sadly I found out that coordinating your xmog with the theme means jack shit, I was the only caster in the group and the theme was wizardly whatever so I thought "yay, I'm gonna win!" so.... even though I had a nice red wizard look going, I didn't get a single fucking vote.. the prot pally ended up winning and it seriously disappointed me

if they ever bring this back, some cool shit you were able to do: besides the 3 emote buttons they put on your bar there you could also just type emotes, like /silly and my favorite /rasp towards the other toon on the stage and all your emotes work, could also macro them to buttons so easy/faster. your right about just que'ing together with 1 or 2 others specially in the middle of the night, its a instant win 1st place. You could also use your toy wings and other items like noggenfogger elixir and eng world shrinka; worked great. Then another one of my favorites was every time on stage just /sleep you lay down and still win 1st place because people voting for you for being different.
