Sorry, I should just say, that at 13:19 I said "10 o'clock" by mistake. What I meant to say was "2 o'clock". Thanks everyone. Stephen

Incredible talk. One of the absolute best on the subject of the intricacies of watch making. Stephen wears his genius, his fears and his self-criticism (as any real artist would) on his sleeves and is a brave man for doing so.

We have another Genius, a Prodigy! This whole talk, this man, put on stage, a place he HATES, makes a talk. This is the genius behind MB&F. I felt for him, truly, I could feel him bending like the tensions of his ever perfect springs. Sometimes I thought he was crying. To have that sort of obsessive accuracy, truly he suffered, and is currently doing the same still.......... The last guy to speak was perfect, not only in culture, but in his acquiescenence of speech. He invited Stephen to admire and enjoy the results of his unique path. If only he could or would? ...... what is the next project for him>>???? We are waiting! :-)

Absolutely fascinating. What a humble gentleman. So interesting to see the inspirations of Stephens art, to hear about his design process and see how he makes the parts. Emotional too to empathise with his anxieties and love he has for his art. The time he puts into his work is immensely admirable. How blessed we are to hear from geniuses like Stephen that share their experiences with us. My respect for Watchmakers has just skyrocketed! ✊

Wow, just wow! You would almost be scared to ask him to design another knowing the hardship is causes but the end result will go down in history, Daniel’s was intense, R. Smith is relentless in the pursuit of perfection and does the design and the build, all of these guys are just from another place

Wowowoowow what an incredible speech… really deep down in our soul you’re the man… what a genuine genius…. What an unconventional thinker…. Really you’re the round pig in a square hole…. Remember me of the late Steve Jobs…. The obsession of the details in the parts that nobody would ever seen…. The perfections in spending months and months on a parts that no one could ever see with their eyes but with soul…. Bravo bravo bravooooo that’s incredible

Amazing talk. Side note: what was with the weird Aldis commentary from other people that had nothing to do with the presentation? Did some lady mention Black Adam for some bizarre reason? With all due respect, no one can truly relate to Stephen, it would be odd to think so, he is singular in his accompliahments and ability.

wouldnt it be amazing if ownership of the watch went to the people who loved it as much as he did, not the people who simply had money.
