Objectively, this is a well produced podcast, and you can tell there’s a lot of effort and passion behind it. Subjectively though, it felt like you were slipping into more "obvious" questions, maybe ones you already knew the answers to, like “Do you think ambience matters?”-which kinda keeps the conversation a bit surface level for me. As pro painters yourselves, I think its awesome awesome to hear you chat "shop" more naturally (which is the feel of the regular show when you don't have a guest) rather than slipping into that slightly more formal or corporate interview style. The guest has so much experience, and I feel like with a bit more depth and authenticity, the conversation could’ve been even more engaging. Overall though, still appreciate the episodw and love the show!

A bit more like The Painting Phase while Peachy was there -- production values and discourse that went beyond the conventional politeness.

Really good of you to offer a suggestion that isn't an "obvious" question. ffs 🤦♂️🤷♂️.

@KrishnaBheemul Here are a few questions I think could spark deeper insights: 1. Are there any pieces of 'bad' advice you’ve noticed in the high-end miniature painting community? 2. What’s something you’ve changed your mind about since you started competing in GDs? 3. Do you have a favorite 'miniature painting failure'-a mistake that taught you something valuable? 4. What new belief, behavior, or habit do you think has been the most helpful in achieving success at GD?"

I look forward to this podcast and love that it’s on mondays now and comes out at 5am for me so I can get up and do painting before work. I gotta get my passport so I can catch an iron skull and war boot!

I've not done much kit bashing but had some fun with Gretchen and tau when I first started painting Warhammer again

Painting what gives you joy, what you love and showing to people (online or at competions); you are going to find people that vibe and enjoy what you are doing as much as you do. You won't know until you start doing it and doing it for yourself.

I really enjoyed this Episode, Mark is such a nice and interesting chap. His background etc. considering his years of experience was awesome More generally, competition painting chat on the podcast is becoming a little saturated though. 😊

What a great bloke. What a display case Mark must have. I would be interested in knowing if they great painters like Mark ever get rid of there models. Do they give the odd one as an Xmas present or wedding gift
