Thank you Mr. Click for this video. I guess I'm old school when my mother use to make her cakes. She would have me to set the bottom side down on parchment paper when it really was waxed paper and take a knife back then and to trace around the bottom of the pan and then cut it . It was just that simple.

I wouldn't use wax paper for parchment paper.

No, the biscuits didn't stick so I did not have to use parchment paper.

Why not just use the bottom of the pan as a template, draw around as a template and cut the circle a little short of the inside of the line with scissors? Am I missing something?

Try your method and the one shown in the video and you'll see what you are missing. 🙂

You all make this so hard, lay the paper down set the bottom of the pan on it go around it with pen or the scissors, cut inside the line,

Too much trouble. Just place pan on paper and trace around.
