Glad they are a help. Yes the game has completely changed from launch and with the impending seasons (already released on PC) things will change again. It one of the refreshing things about Martyr. When they see something that doesn't work they try to change it

This was super helpful, i had no idea that most of the cards are either middling or hyper situational at best, at worst just damn useless. Luckily i saved ALL my cards during a 250 hr first character before i used any of them. So thankfully for me i found this video before i used a single card. Thanks, i just subbed as well.

Thanks S3uBu for yet another great guide, much appreciated. Some of the devs design choices are perplexing, like why not give us an option to view our Tarot Cards freely? They could just integrate it into the inventory system, or make a hotkey that would open up the same Tarot Card screen we see when actually starting an Assignment or whichever.

That tip for focusing the upgrades is quite helpful, thanks! I'm on a recent kick of platinum-ing my ARPG collection after some high effort trophy lists in other genres. Plat'd D3 last week and now onto Inquisitor Martyr and Torchlight 2. I can't really tell the difference between pre and post 2.0 patch since I only played a little bit in 2018, but I'm having fun with a new crusader (originally played psyker)

Psyker didn't really change much but Sader really improved in flow between pre and post 1.4. I have platinums for D3 and Martyr and I want it for Chaosbane and Torchlight 2 as well

Jest so everyone is aware if you collect 240 tarot cards that will get all cards to the max of 10 upgrades and from there you can streamline the lvl of the specific 4 talked about in the video

Just wanted to say thank you for this, though I think there have been some changes to the cards since you made it. Also the cards on my version (Steam) are in a different order than in your vid. OK just checked in my game and I think you might want to look at updating this at some point. For example, the cards that set the level to X have been changed so that they add a certain number of levels to the mission, instead of setting the level to a fixed number. The "all reward bonus" has been changed significantly. On The Possessed, for example, it's now 70% at level 1 and the Heretek Forge is 80% at level 1 (plus it now also adds two levels to the mission). The Glory / Influence bonuses are also now only 100% for a level 1 card.

Yeah they seem to be different depending on when the were unlocked I think. The main change to the cards is that the Major ones now have a level increase associated with them so some add 2 levels and some add 11 for instance. The only other change is the hidden all rewards bonus for changing a mission into a tarot mission (by adding a major tarot) has now been applied to the cards so it is visible

Cool guide. Now i only need to find a whey to select a specific card i want to level up. No where on the internet there is not explanation how you people select specific cards to level up.i use Uther's tarot to distribute points randomly. My PS5 console won't give me option to select card i want to use my uther points on.

You cannot select a specifi card at all. What you have to do is level all cards until their "progress" bar reads 10 and then only "level up" the cards you want to increase. Tarot cards will only be applied to Any card with available progress slots. I will do another video on this explaining the process as it is still not fully understood.

One problem I have with the forge card is that you can’t use it for hardcore crusade. Which makes wonder weather a normal crusade with forge is more efficient than hardcore crusade with another main tarot card.

It makes sense you can't use it as it gives penalties to dying which obviously Harcore does as standard. There are other cards which have the same All rewards bonus so it should not affect too much but the bonus is quite a nice one so it would be playing around to find the best combo....or don't use a major and use a seal instead...

Nice vid like always! I am using Venom to gain Tarot Cards for Intel runs and actually I had more than 10+ Uther Tarot Card dropped. As soon as I check out the Upgrade progress there is nothing add to any of them… I am confused

Picking up the card does not increase progress you need to apply them from your inventory. There is a tan which looks like a gem, in there near the bottom of the list are the tarot cards. Click on them to apply them.

I think anything they can do to ancients will make them better. I think they should have really good stats only available on Ancients. I think Holy/Daemonforged items should be 100% unique named items

How to upgreade it on ps4? This is all random. Im stuck on season of the Warp Surge lv3. Level up card to lv5 seems impossible to me. Im lv 85 with 700h+ in the game

I do have a video on how to maximise the levelling process. Basically do not level up cards you do not want. When the reach max progression no more cards will be allocated to them, in this way you can level up o ly the card you want. The patches that come on PC, are they being applied to console at all? For a 2 year old game it has a lot of issues especially in multiplayer.

Yes they are. We are about 2 mo ths behind at the moment but we get everything PC gets. The team is still a very small team and although it doesn't look it the game is very complex so they have made a mammoth to try and Control with a small stick haha

For particular issues you can visit the discord or forum and lodge a co.pla I nt about them. A number of issues have been resolved by that method. Although there are issues it is still a compelling and dare I say it addictive game

@@deathrabbitgames8343 in that case, go to your inventory and go to the tab with the diamond 💎 on it. At the bottom there should be a set called Uthers Tarot. Click on that and select the maximum. This will apply tarot to each of your cards randomly. When a card reads progress 10/10 it is ready to upgrade. Only upgrade the cards you want because that means new tarot card upgrades will only be applied to those without full progress. I do have a video on this on my channel if you search levelling tarot

Enchantments don’t matter as much as psalm code doctrines. If you want to turn off your brain, grab a gravo gun, get that +200% damage against slowed enemies doctrines, spec into aoe tree. Then you can start spamming the last skill and everything will die.

Definitely true. Psalm doctrines will make a huge difference and as you are level 83 you only have 2 levels before your equipment can be considered end game (mac item level is 90 and you can level items up to 5 times at the Tech Priest)

Damnit.... is there anyway to reset the cards? Its my last item on my tier 4 liat and I unknowingly upgraded most of my tarot cards to level 2. If there isn't a way, I may stop playing. The grind is a bit much! Great vid, wished i found it sooner.

There is unfortunately no way to reset them no. You will need to find 50 tarot for each card to reach level 3 but if you want to try and speed that up you can do void crusades and intel missions with the venom card applied. Venom increases the chance tarot cards will drop so can speed up the process

Correct. If you don't click on upgrade then no tarot cards are assigned to it. Basically instead of trying to upgrade 24 cards you will only be upgrading the ones you want

Servoskulls are only available in void crusades and appear on random maps. If you follow my void crusade video it shows how to minimise difficulty increase to get the best efficiency, that way you can clear more missions to find the servoskulls. Chests with demons in really are random, make sure you go into every corner even if it looks empty because those chests do not show up on the map The guy who sells visual items is only available Friday to Sunday and can be located by accessing the special locations section of the starmap
