I do the peel back prep and clean like you do but I steam it for 10 mins. Then I peal it again, season and butter it, put the husk back in place and cook it on the grill. With all the moisture and a hot grill gives you smoked seasoned buttery sweet corn. I melt my butter and put it into a squeeze bottle for easy access and my guest always want my corn on the menu!

In here we mostly boil the corn in water or milk, without the husk and then it can be grilled. When grilled straight on the grill without the husk, it gets nice charred marks and has a different and interesting taste to just boiled one. But both ways are great. We also just sprinkle some salt on it, but I like putting pepper too. The salt over the shoulder was funny

I've never heard of boiling corn in milk, that's so interesting! Is it just milk, or a combination of milk and water? Where are you from, if you don't mind my asking?

Hello, I am Romanian. The classical recipe here is like this: remove the husk but keep it a side and clean the corn of its silk. Grab a big pot, put half of the husk on the bottom of the pot, making a uniform layer, sort of like a bed for the corn. Then arrange the corn on top of the husk, you might need to break the cob in half, and you put one or two layers of corn, depending on how big is your pot. Then, cover the corn with the husk, like a blanket. On top of everything, complete with water or half water, half milk, we usually use just water mostly. Bring to a boil for about 15-20 minutes. After this it should be boiled and ready to eat or grill. It's very juicy when boiled. But be careful when you take it out of the pot, it will be really hot.
@rz92978 жыл бұрын
boiling the corn in it's husk allows for you to easily remove the silk at the end of cooking. might be better to try it like that.
@abracadavra8 жыл бұрын

if you're implying he may be homosexual what does that have to do with him doing his job? it appears Sarah is heterosexual as she mentions her husband and children and yet no one in the comments I've read has mentioned her sexual orientation. sexual orientation prejudice is something to be ditched, if you can. if you can't ditch it, then fake it, for the sake of courtesy. my opinion.
