I retired at 52 and honestly, I wish I’d done it sooner. The 9-to-5 grind steals your freedom for a paycheck that barely scratches the surface. My advice? If you’re in your late 30s or early 40s, start saving for FIRE now - Financial Independence, Retire Early. And if you’re in your 50s, invest smartly and break free from relying on your job. Market trends, like the Trump Effect, have made millions for many, including me. Stay focused, stay consistent, and remember: financial freedom is within reach if you make it a priority.

Exactly My point! The 9to5 grind is just not worth it the stress and low payoff. What specific steps did you take to break free?

Working with Lorrie Greta Hillard , a financial advisor, was a game changer. She helped me refine my savings strategy, including retirement planning, and provided expert guidance on investments and budgeting to maximize my savings.

About school you are right. I live in Belgium as well. If the country needs more engineers or IT in the future, the teachers will push towards that direction. We tried hard to change that for our kids, sometimes parents must follow, they will not tell you the real reason of course, either your kid is not capable or the class if full etc.

72 years old here. In USA at a slave job you’re lucky to get any vacation at all. One week or at best two week vacation is typical.

Insightful, so you are advising to stop over-consuming information because too much learning without doing holds you back. Instead, dive into the marketplace and start building something, even if it’s not perfect. To treat failures as lessons, not reasons to quit, and refine your approach by seeking knowledge specific to your challenges. You have found that success comes through persistence, so embrace each setback as a step closer to your goals. I would also add that you need to strengthen your body and mind to resist manipulation and dependency. Prioritize learning skills that foster independence, such as financial literacy, critical thinking, and self-reliance, while questioning mainstream narratives. Use decentralized platforms for finance, technology, and communication to reduce reliance on centralized systems. But most important, build connections with like-minded individuals to create shared goals and mutual support, empowering collective resilience.

I’ve been teaching as an invited professor in a school of technology and found myself telling students that no matter how much technology is evolving humans will still slave away. The promises of liberation that technologies have when they come out do not become true. Washing machine came with the promise to free the house wife… for what? To go out and work so now you spend weekends filling the washing machine and never have time for your family anyway. Don’t even see your kids during the week almost. So now we must encourage students to use AI… supposed to make things easier and faster…to free us??? In any job it will now be assumed you are AI assisted and more will be demanded of you in that “free” time😂😂😂 they can’t say they were not warned. My 10 year old is refusing to go to school. Says it’s a waste of his time and what he wanted from school (learning to read) he already got. I don’t know what to do…

Thank you so much for your knowledge and insight in the Art World! I've been taking your advice. I've been doing art since 2017 in my present medium that I love.. mixed media and resin art. I just submitted some pics of my art for a big art fair in Jensen Bch FL in January. It is juried.. I hope I get accepted. I've reduced my 9-5 to 5 hours a day so I can do my art.
