Hey everyone. Please help the video by dropping a Like if you are able. I don't expect a rack review to get pushed heavy by the algorithm. Also, check the description for more links and information. Thanks!

Hi Steve!! You said feel free to comment about this rack, so here i go! I want to point two mistakes that bugged me instantly. Locking wheels need to be placed in both ends so that it wont lose stability at one end. The second mistake will be harder to accept but these wooden sheets is useles and just adds extra weight. Metal bends as much as much weight is added but time does not add more bend like in wooden material. I rather put a wooden block to support bottom shelf. (Only applies for stacionary rack). Sorry for being asshole, love you no matter what❤

Can confirm, excellent for CRTs and other equipment. Been using some for a while, haven’t had any issues with weight, I try to keep it even and they have been working well. It’s a great way to take advantage of vertical space!

I definitely have two of these in my garage to store all my PVMs. They're excellent quality and highly recommended!

You have a nice rack there Steve, I'm actually looking for shelves or some type of unit to take several 21" CRT monitors, a couple 20" PVM's, a 32" ED CRT, (the Panasonic SR Acuity and the 36" model too), and a 25" monitor and a 25" curved Trinitron, it would be nice if it could take all that and be on wheels, would like it all to be raised up at least starting at 3 foot, so I can hook any of them up and use them at any point, got to be something industrial quality out there that can manage all that.

The same rack that I bought about a year ago on Amazon in Italy for 70 Euros. I also used wooden shelves, mainly because the rack shelves weren't strong enough to support the weight of Hi-Fi equipment or monitors.

Hey Steve, i just subscribed and veen watching your safety videos mostly, would you happen to know what the problem may be if a tv blinks black on inputs every 4 seconds or so? tried to put a new crt of mine on a rack we have here at the house, bought it off amazon, wide, looks pretty solid. nope, all the metal underneath it bowed instantly and looked really weak, like at any moment it'd snap apart. I hope this is way stronger than that lol. for reference the TV's a samsung samsung TXR2035. *Now it sits on an old nightstand i've had since i was a kid, solid wood so it's stable.

I dont have a rack but I have custom-built corner desk that goes the length of one side of the room then half of the other. I have my FD-Trinitron right in the corner, and by stroke of complete luck, there is a desk leg right under the CRT so I am fairly certain it shouldn't bend.

Wow, I actually sell industrial versions of these wire shelving units. Very odd to see what i do for fun and what i do for work collide like this. If you guys like these but want more capacity per shelf level, you should check out industrial brands like Quantum or Metro. Price will be higher but they support 600-800Lbs per shelf level. Since i work for a company that sells these I managed to snag some neat black epoxy units for my collection. These same manufacturers also sell plastic totes and bins in various sizes so you can order your whole crt organization system from one location to save on shipping. not looking to shill the company i work for off the clock though. You can usually find these cheapest from restaurant wholesalers who get deeper discounts. Just try googling around when you find a sku you like for the cheapest price. Watch out for the wheels though. I've retrofitted casters on the stand for a giant Trinitron before and had it topple over due to the front heavy glass (it survived). I believe the distributed load of several smaller CRT's across a unit, like in this video, is safe though.
